It’s just a slight thumb contusion. He should be fine. He also has 10 days to deal until our next preseason game anyway. And if he doesn’t play, I would not mind seeing the future Pro Bowl Foles play for a half.
Besides, Eagles already in preseason form with the TO calls, three and outs and giving up big third down runs. In all seriousness though, I feel decent about this preseason game. DLine already showing incredible depth even without all the starters, LB play is MUCH improved, and hey, the Eagles actually have a goddamn return game. Now if only we can make DRC not stupid, I’d actually feel great about the D this year.

9ers gonna go tonight. I’m excited even though the sample size for the first group will be little to none. I expect two series, at the most, for the 1st string guys. Anthony Dixon will get the biggest workload of the night when he takes over for frank gore. The WR battles and backup QB spots are what are most exciting for me. For once the 9ers have legit competition. If they want to, they could go 5 deep at WR. TE is set. And then they just signed that guard from the Cowboys. I can’t remember his name for the life of me but he’s legit pro-bowler. Hopefully they can get a few years our of him ala larry allen.
