i didn’t come to tech talk often, never posted, but read a lot of thread and got a lot of help. i voted for duckie because every time i had a question, he answered quickly and honestly. with a ton of info and always pointed me to the right people even if he didn’t know or couldn’t help. your right, it is a thankless job. but not today, because id like to thank you all for all the hard work you put in for us searching for help and the truth. you truly are all stand up people. and i respect you all.
looking at the list of entries, its really difficult to place a vote. i signed up in august and stay lurking on the tt forums absorbing mass volumes of data for my own personal consumption. about half of the entries im familar with, just from TTOL and their colorful sarcastic commentary grants me at least one hysterical ‘lol’ an evening while simultaneously providing useful information at times. being an admin/mod of my own site and vb forum before and seeing all the traffic that comes through here, i kno it the elected mod will either really enjoy it and have fun or quickly realize that it may not be what they were expecting. then again i feel kyle and markman (only two mods i am familiar with) are doing a pretty good job as it is, at least in keeping the most of the threads on point, directing people to places they can find the information they are looking for, closing redundant threads, answering questions, warning those that need to be warned, and admonishing those that quote imgs. and thank you guys for doing the great job that you are doing. I would like the see the elected mod, bring something new to the table, but im not exactly sure what the something new could be. each of the nominees are great characters with varying skills in varying fields. i think kyles TTOL sticky, is a good example. Im not sure if its too much, but i would like to hear what each nominee would see change or done differently or what they could bring to table to make TT a better place for all of us, noobs and veterans alike, instead of well ive done this or i did that. that way i dont have to vote based upon who has gotten the closest to making me piss myself laughing.

But then thats where my stomach interferes. I’m pretty hungry and tired of fast food. Maybe if someone’s cooking, like Nerrage’s, arrived at my house I might remember them first when I go to the polls

That’s weird - there should be an “edit poll” option under the “thread tools” drop down menu when you log in as a moderator. If this is simply a power restriction by how Admin have set the moderator user group then you could try asking them to have a look at it.
Yep, I don’t have it. I’ve had numerous request to edit polls in the past. The option simply isn’t there (for me). Getting the admins to make admin type changes is like pulling teeth.
