Those Ravens players getting cut is semi-understandable from a non-football perspective (Mason is older than dirt, McGahee is old for a RB, Heap has been injured), but Williams is super-lol just because he’s getting released, not because he’s too old (29 is still prime for WR), injured (wasn’t injured), or anything like that, it’s simply because he sucks. Like, he had ONE good season with Detroit, then has been toiling away in mediocrity ever since, even though he acts and talks like he’s a #1 WR.
As far as I’m concerned he was a bust. I’m still surprised we got all of that value from Dallas for a worthless pos.

Rumor is that McNabb will go to MIN as a stopgap solution. Not sure how receptive McNabb will be to that as he just completed a 1-season stopgap with WAS. I suppose McNabb can be serviceable-moments of greatness, but only if he accepts that he’s at the end of his career and is there to groom the future QB.

We also got Cofield form NY which doesn’t seem bad. I’m not expecting much from Stallworth to be honest.
I would feel comfortable with the D-line if we got Cullen Jenkins or Haloti Ngata as well.

Like I said, I am eyeing in on Luck. I have no delusion about this season and am optimistically looking at a 4 win season. With the end of the lock out it is so nice for shit to be happening and having something to talk about. And I would say Ryan Torain was a good pick up last year. I completely expected him to suck it up.
Torain was good when he wasn’t injured.
