Mother faked her death and is now living on her private tropical island thanks to government money. The son is actually a mid-20s actor that looks short and young despite his age (think Gary Coleman and Emmanuel Lewis). The copy of CoD and the gun were placed by a paid-off extremist left Democrat police officer wanting to remove guns from the street so he can participate in the eventual police state United States of Cyborg Obama!
HIDE YO (fake child actor) KIDS, HIDE YO (government sensationalist actress) WIFE! AND HIDE YO (non-existant) COUSINS, CUZ THEY RAPIN ERRYBODY OUT THERE.
But therein lies the issue: if you donât have any external evidence, then you might as well not even go there, because this is one of those issues where itâs the easiest thing in the world to give into confirmation bias. Youâve never had the luxury of being at this stage of adulthood at any other time in history, so you canât compare the way the current youth generation seems to you now to the way another might have seemed. All you really have is your prior experience as a member of your own youth generation, which somewhat detracts from your ability to be an impartial observer.
At some point, youâre really going to get old, and youâll lose the perspective you have nowâand youâre going to gain even more insight about how much better things used to be before these damn kids had all these Pac Man game tapes and Wacky Wall Walkers.
Yeah, especially those websites that spread the word about those crimes and the people on those websites that keep the conversation going.
Seriously though. What. The. Fuck? once again we have a parent that set up herself for her demise because she didnât bother to put together that unstable child + gun - item of childâs obsession + instability in mind = some bad shit going down. Letâs be honest here, The game in question (CoD or any other game violent or not doesnât make a difference) will be blamed but wasnât the factor in this. Then again an M rated game in the possession of a child clearly not ready for such material, didnât help at all. Especially when the child has some mental issue.
Also, I remember some lady letting her child die due to neglect because of FarmVille. I donât remember the media making a stir about video games causing this.
Probably because Nancy Grace was tending to that ladyâs farm.
iâm surprised how many people felt the need to relate their own anecdotes about their parents taking their video games away, and how they specifically did NOT attempt to rape and kill their mom. I think we can safely assume everyone posting here has not tried that lol
also surprised how many people felt the need to assert that guns for tweens/teens is still a good thing in spite of this story. canât people just find a hobby a little less dangerous to enjoy with their kids than firing deadly weapons? giving guns to your kids puts a lot more people in danger than just your family.
WaitâŚhow did he fail in the raping?
No way was vaginal necrosis had set in to make it impossible.
I blame modern games and their hand holding, quick time events. Where is the skill? Where is the finesse?
Not to derail this thread any further, but I just have an issue with children having access to a firearm before theyâre truly old enough to recognize the consequences of misusing it. Now, donât get me wrong, I absolutely believe that an 11 or 12 year old can be taught to handle firearms responsibly, but theyâre still kids with underdeveloped minds that donât always have the best grasp on a situation. Of course, not all kids are going to throw a tantrum and go for the .45, but imo, until they can legally be held responsible for taking a life, they shouldnât have complete access to something that would allow them to do it so easily. This kidâs going to spend the next few years in juvy getting counselling to understand that what he did was bad, but heâs not a bad person, then let out with a sealed record once he hits 18.
Actually, let me edit my first sentence, I have a problem with children having unfettered access to a firearmâŚIf itâs kept locked up safely when a parent isnât around, then go for it. I donât think anyone was saying a kid should have their own private gun locker under the bed.
WellâŚfuck. Iâm seeing more and more shooting occurring all over the place. Parents, please step your shit up. Ugh. I will say that this kid was fucked up though. Some things you canât fix.
Because educating people about weapons is smarter and more beneficial to mankind in the long run then pretending they donât exist. People who are into guns would prefer to teach their children about guns because it keeps them and those around them safe. Their children are less likely to break into dads gun box and fuck around with a loaded weapon then those whose parents treat guns like some kind of evil beast that their kids should be sheltered from. Education is always better then ignorance.
then why not support legislation for mandatory firearm safety education before letting children handle/own them? its just completely incongruent with how we handle everything else with minors. we donât let them drive and just hope their parents educated them on the safety of driving. you could probably teach a 14 year old to drink/smoke/gamble responsibly, but all that stuff is stigmatized much more than firearms for minors. it boggles my mind that people can so easily trust people they donât know to give deadly firearms to their children, sufficiently educate them on how to use them safely, and that those kids will even listen to their parents. clearly there are parents out there that arenât doing a very good job of it.
Personally I support mandatory fire arm safety education for everyone. Iâm almost to the point where gun asfety should be taught in schools since guns are everywhere and apperantly easy as fuck to get ahole of, yet the majority of the population has no idea how to use them correctly. I also think you should have to have licenses for types of guns you own, much like drivers licenses giving permission to drive certain vehicles. Want an assault rife? Fine, pass a âClass A Licenceâ class and test to prove you know how to use the weapon and of sound mind to own said weapon.
Just because I think itâs fine to buy a gun for a child doesnât mean I donât think the current gun control system is perfect or anything. Since itâs not perfect tho, right now we have to rely on people parenting their children correctly, which the majority of them do.
