(11/20 PSN!) SG: Slightly Different Edition patch notes

So currently, if I full screen Diamond Deflector a projectile into Diamonds Are Forever and hold back, should that result in a wall bounce on hit every time? Thanks for the replies.

Um… well, I’m not sure that every, if any, projectiles will be slow enough to hit with a projectile from full screen, because I’ve had plenty of people block that. Not only that, but I don’t think the stun will be enough to combo into the level 3.

Deflection into Diamonds Are Forever links on hit if you cancel immediately after the deflection. How you actually hit that in a match is something that would need to be discussed in Cerebella thread.

Landing a reflected projectile into a Lv3 from fullscreen should wallbounce regardless, since they’re right next to the wall. The only way you should be able to make it not happen would be landing either Kanchou or Forever from up close and moving toward them after the hit so that the camera both zooms out and moves along with you…if you stay still, it should always happen.

I’ll look into what I can change to minimally impact combos but make wallbounce more likely, although I don’t know if I can change anything at all, at this point.

has the dlc characters stats been balanced and tested with the patch or are some moves still based on prepatch SG ?

the only times ive ever had a wallbounce move not wall bounce is if i was moving forwards. either stay still or walk backwards if you like and you always get the wallbounce.

I don’t think they are answering questions that have anything to do with dlc characters at this point.

i think that’s fine the way it is, i like being able to control however my cerebella/filia combos will wallbounce or not(for mixup)

Why didn’t Skullgirls get released 2 years earlier, so for the first year of it’s life I could actually go to every event in SoCal and have people to play with IRL, and thus actually improve my abilities tremendously?

Mike, are you guys worried about the future of the game considering how few active users there are?

I’ve worried about that myself and admittedly I haven’t been playing skullgirls lately. However, I still get matches going at my local fight night. I usually start up skullgirls at the beginning of the night and nobody ever switches it to another game. The interest is there just gotta keep promoting it.

I just havent been playing it because I get really tired of facing the same 4 people on ranked and having people rage quit on me in player matches because they lost two games.
