First the PC port, its more cheaper than make characters and gives more money.
You know, having played GGAC online now, it’s beyond me why Japanese game companies don’t use GGPO. That online is TOTAL CRAP compared to the most basic GGPO implementation, and in a game where you have FRCs timing sort of matters.
It really is a shame more people don’t play SG online, heh.
GG online is pretty booty which is surprising for an arksys game where i had excellent experience online for BB and P4A.
Everyone here should pitch to their local millionaire about why SG is a good investment yes?

Unlike BB or P4A, GG was not built for online at the onset of its development. The netcode really isn’t that much better than GG, but the games handle it better because they are built with more leniency.

I played online today and went up to Tier 2.
I actually found someone that was on my low level and was able to win 3/5 games. Most people I find online are much better than me and they beat me 10 to zero before they leave.
Ping wasn’t great around 130 to 200. So I had the GGPO delay set around 3-5. It was really smooth except for some lag spikes and one game that turned into a slide show.
What joke? Some people don’t have access to the patch, yet want to play (i.e. XBL users). For them, it’s no joke that online is dead. =/
For PS3 users, is tier 1 the top or the bottom? Looks like I’m tier 2 right now. Good to know what direction I want to be going.
I noticed that there’s periodic pauses in my game (Xbox) when I do things like call out Parasoul’s egrets. Is this what you meant when you “Fixed unnecessary checking for achievements after they are already granted.” I remember I would get the same pause when I would get an achievement way back when.
Yes, that’s an example of something in that fix. The hitch when landing the first throw of your session with Cerebella is another. And so on, with the rest of the characters.
