It’s Halo though. You know the fan-base is going to flood it with votes just because it’s Halo, and Halo fans outnumber SG fans.
Is there a way to vote from the nomination page? I couldn’t find it.
There is no vote, it’s just the nominations put up which then will be internally discussed. (I think)
Even better for SG and other indie games. If the awards are decided by popular vote, the blockbusters would have a significant advantage because of “ooh black ops, I play that one”
Mike, better get your cash ready so you can buy that win!
I’m loving the game so much more (but still a lot of people kick my ass… What the hell guys! you got all better all of the sudden)
My only frikkin question is! if I’m from Mexico WHAT BLOODY REGION should I choose!!! !!!
I hope Journey wins a lot of those too.
I wish Dark Souls could win game of the year; it deserves it.
And if SG doesn’ take the animation award… hell. I mean, those other choices are just so bland and boring.
Should have come to Canada. =D
Why are you doing half circles? lol
And lastly, are the SkullGirls forums going to be up ever?
Gulf Coast or Central America?
@Duckie - nah, I don’t want to derail the thread any, but OTT’s scare me. :^P And the patch is out.
SO, who took 15 minutes and figured out the mystery pushblock change? (^.^)
[edit]
AAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAhaha.
After that outburst, I checked out the site and noticed there’s still quite a bit of Reverge stain all over the place. What gives? And also I can’t play the patch yet, why don’t you just whisper what the change is to me bro.
Does it have something to do with making your character invincible? Just throwing out guesses…again. >_>
You mean that pushblock change that ISN’T guard canceling?
And, yeah, I had to ask. Kind of tired of SG not having a proper central hub.
Official forums are the worst thing that can happen to any game, ever.
Yep, that one. C’mon, you have all the tools necessary to figure it out now.
What’s your beef with official forums?
And honestly, Mike, I have no idea what to look for. Don’t know if it’s new or an old mechanic brought back, but all I knew about pushblock from 1.0 was that it pushes the opponent away.
See: Capcom Unity, any MMO’s official forums, any game that receives changes or patches ever.
It’s not “beef”. The majority of people that frequent official forums are destructive as hell for the game. They’re the whiny entitled [EXTREMELY vocal] minority that wishes the game to be their way or “there will be consequences” (quitting the game, asking for refunds, telling their friends the game is shit, will go out of their way to slander the game in every way possible, etc). Since the majority of people that do enjoy the game normally can’t be assed to post in forums because they’re too busy actually playing the game, the devs then end up listening to the forum goers way too much.
That’s not to say that you can’t find good stuff in official forums but… it would be a gigantic waste of everyone’s time at Lab Zero Games, IMO.
Try looking, though. It IS visible in SG, as opposed to other games.
That brings hitsparks to mind. I wonder…
What use is a SG specific forum?
Everyone who is interested in Skullgirls and can use Google will end up here (a search for “Skullgirls Forum” has SRK as top result).
Everyone who is interested in Fighting Games but doesn’t know what SG is will end up on SRK and maybe find this sub forum (as I did, a long long time back).
Everyone who is a bit interested in SG and very interested in FGs in general will have an SRK acc but probably can’t be assed to create a separate acc for an SG specific forum
The only thing an “official” forum is going to accomplish is sawing the community in another piece. We have a highly frequented subforum (with charspecifc subboards and hardworking mods who’re gonna sticky anything that’s worth stickying) on the biggest FG board in the world; what else do you want?
Someone show me a video or explain this guard canceling to me quick plz
