The true MVP of Team Kyushu has got to be Macho Banana.
And I would never thought a team consisting of 2 Ryu’s, and a great (but not the best) Chun in AFM would make it to the Finals.
The 2 Ryu’s almost had it against the Yun and Macho’s Chun, too.
Hmm, I wonder if the result would be, nah, I reckoned Deshiken would still take it in the end.
Great tourney and no recognizable power teams in the Finals. Gotta love it.

It’s gonna take me some time to go through this much video, so please be patient. Life is busy, busy.
It’s currently 809 gigs of video in FRAPS’s recorded format (I didn’t do any half-sizing trickery and such). I’m gonna try and find+edit out the couple hiccups I introduced, and also edit out the intermissions. As far as gameplay goes, it’s almost the complete stream. Off the top of my head, the most annoying parts that I can’t do anything about are:
Playoffs: Koushun vs. Uraken (FRAPS crashed 18 seconds into second round)
Playoffs: Roshihikari vs. Uraken (missed the first round and much of the second round before I restored FRAPS)
Top 16: DeshikenKFG vs. Matsuda (connection to stream lagged a bunch and the first 8ish seconds are mostly skipped)
Since they were nice enough to upload the Top 16 themselves, the Deshiken vs. Matsuda thing isn’t a big deal. I’m not planning on processing/uploading my recording of the Top 16.
Not exactly sure what I’ll be doing regarding the uploading… working on that.
I got hella hype when I saw Nekomanma and Kuni on the same team but I NEVER thought they would make grand finals. And AFM was really the star too. Also hell yeah to deshiken for breaking the shoryu world record.
Downloaded the archive myself, with 2gig limit pre video I should get it all up, do you think there’d be any objection from the organisers? There’s no mention of a DVD but I don’t wanna get my channel nuked.
That’s part of what I’ve been wondering about. If they’re gonna make a DVD then I don’t wanna upload anything. If they won’t…

KO and Kokujin are very bad luck people
At 1st semi final, I thought VISION team should save OTB for the last then KO could be less pressure and beat AFM then. Yang always a Chun killer but on that pressure as the last member even KO could lose.
Ushi beat AFM for the tournament win.
Unless there was another match afterwards, and if there was then it’s just an exhibition.
Or you just saw the semi-finals between Team Kyushu and God Power Boss.
