Thats Seven big games, all featuring the best competitors to be found in the Northwest, entrants from Oregon, Washington and even Canada (hopefully)! Come and show everyone your skills in a large comfortable ballroom.
Expect this tournament to be even better than the infamous Winter Showdown! Hopefully we’ll have a few extra suprises this year, but those will come out as we get further into the planning stages, so you all will just have to wait and see!
Directions to the Event:
From seattle:
From Vancouver:
From Norcal (uses Redding, CA on I-5 as the starting Point):
Lodging:
For people who may need a place to stay, arrangements may be able to be made with various Portland hosts, hopefully some people will volunteer. Another option is to stay at the University Place Hotel (http://cegs.pdx.edu/stay/upl/)
A reduced rate for both parking and lodging can be attained for this Hotel if enough interest is shown, we are talking around 80 bucks total for 1 night of lodging plus parking, so if you had like 8 people in the room it would be very cheap. The rooms themselves are standard 2 bedroom hotel rooms. Just let us know if you will need this and we can talk to the school about getting reduced rates.
Everybody Get Hype! Once we get a schedule planned out I’ll make sure to post it up! Also we will probably once again need a few donations of equipment to help with the tournament but I need to make a list still and find out exactly what we need donated!
Oh and a Flyer should be coming a few more days!
SPECIAL EVENT 1
It looks like we will have free pizza for all attendees!!!
Please Preregister at the below site. No money is needed yet this is just so we can get a good head count and pre-add players to our database.
