10/26 Charlotte PnT "Lock Down" after hours tourney. t6/bb

Umm, Actually, the prize is in Store Credit and depending on how many people actually enter we’ll be giving away the Tekken 6 Collector’s Edition. We’re not allowed to give away cash as a tournament prize because NC State Law considers that gambling. We did that with a Super Smash Bros. Melee tournament and got fined for it. I also need to know how many people are picking up Tekken 6 at the tournament and for what system you want it so I know how many I need to get in the store.

EDIT: I would LOVE to host a SF3rd Strike tourney as it’s probably my favorite fighting game. Just no one around here shows interest in fighting games so unless I knew people would come, it wouldn’t be worth it for us.

I’mma try and make it out, gotta see when I gotta work that day, definitely wanna get my hands on Tekken 6. But yo! Can we get a Charlotte Fight Club going? I would love to have a spot to hang out and have new people to fight.

Oh and btw, Third Strike is not dead, I’d perfer 3S to BB anyday.

I’d argue that we as a whole of fighting game players hate on each other’s games too much. Such hate should be directed towards Madden and Halo :wonder: As far as “Just no one around here shows interest in fighting games” I think it’s just an issue of not enough of us who do like fighting games know each other. We lost a lot when Mindboggle closed–time to bring that back.
