I just got a BALLER ass room at that Embassy Suites hotel right down the street from the tournament. Corner 2-room suite, with king bed, sleeper sofa, 27 inch tv, huge bathroom, 8-person conference table, and free hot breakfast. This room is bigger than the rooms at EVO and its less than half the price.
We might as well have casuals/the tournament in my damn hotel room! And I’m down if people want to come by to play on Friday night, I’ll have my PS2s/CPU monitor so we can play two setups at the same time.
By the way, anybody want to take a guess and who I’m bringing? I promise I won’t fail to impress!

It’s good to see that people are ready to take on Exo at the tourney. I think after last C3 it’s definitely certain that Exo is capable of winning with quite a few characters but…if I can run tourneys with a cute shinobi chick and yourself can run teams with a “half assed mid tier” I say we’re in to put a dent in Exo’s win streak. Alex is more serious than people know. I say let’s put all the stipulation drama to the side and do what we do best…play for the god damned W regardless of character or skill level. 
Smooth or KO Fiend works for me. Paul Wall would be cool too. Anybody who can play 3S. Or teach me CVS2.

well in all honestly, i’m pretty nonchalant and casual whenever i play, regardless if i’m using yun or not. people who play me know that i’m pretty much on robotic mode, so it doesn’t really help either way.
havoc: letting 1 or 2 tournaments slip between my fingers because i chose a non-top tier doesn’t mean much (not to mention DJ winning that one c3, i didn’t attend). i’ll just play more serious or choose a more powerful character the next time. that’s exactly what i’m trying to illustrate. make me play harder. i can see if people improve if i do this. when i go all out, people lose more often than not, and i don’t get to see if they really improved. sure, there’s the random factor, but i’d still rather see it. besides, just because im using a mid-tier, doesn’t mean i don’t want to win. precedence by last tournament, it was evident i definitely wanted to win with dudley.
rugal: true, but people have played my top tiers before. i’m not banning top tiers altogether. besides, me using various characters helps broaden people’s matchups. if i only stuck to yun, then people won’t know how to play against ryu, dudley, yang, etc…
as for the money stipulation, i do see the new point of view concerning trying to random me out just to win the prize. but in all honesty, if people are trying to take my money as opposed to using this to improve their game, then they’re already thinking wrong. learn to beg for a fish for a day or learn to fish for life?
Exo, you don’t have to explain yourself to me. I think the shit is hilarious. Personally, I couldn’t get sonned like that every month. The disrespect is off the charts, but that’s why it’s funny. And people still lose so fuck it.
This fucking thread makes me sick to my stomach. I currently am getting tired of how you guys whine about Khang winning with half assed characters. Any character can win at 3S if you focus and learn the matchups. I lost to DevilJin once cause I didn’t know the match up, afterwards I adapted and learned all of ibukis weaknesses.
Overall bottom line is: Man the fuck up. Play till you can’t play no more, you guys can do it, but NONE of you possess the mindset to win.

i too am sick of people talking about khangs stipulation. also i remember a time when i had the mindset to wanna win in games. but that scattered into the wind like one of my farts long ago. as for matchups i really really need to learn to fight chun and yun. as for everything else it all comes down to the player.
