i think cue is holding a tourny there and a lot of GG guys will be there. So they decided to go. I have no money, time, or even intrest to go to any tourny that far unless it is evo.

Moving this event to a large location DEFINITELY is great news. Recently I’ve been going to some lan center-style events and they’re starting to grow to the point where the place is cramped…now having lots of extra space and more setups will own up.
If you guys would like me to bring things (PS2s/copies of games etc.) I can obviously accomodate, I still have all of the supplies from ECC. I can also bring one setup complete with high def monitor, speakers, the works, that was used at ECC. Don’t worry, it doesn’t lag.
Just for the record, I will probably be the only member of “Team Hate” (it’s weird saying that because I just recently joined even though I’ve been the King of Hate for years) that will be coming down for this. We all live really far apart and since I’m leaving on Friday morning and not returning until later Sunday, I doubt anybody else will be able to take the time off that I have to make this trip. But I will definitely ask around and see what I can do.
I really hope we can get headcount up for this event, and if anybody has any ideas on how I can help with that, feel free to let me know.
Also SNAAAKE I hope you realize that you’re never going to beat me on PS2 where I get to play on my own joystick. That randomness on broken ass CTF was a one-time thing so don’t get any ideas.

I agree. I loved the old c3, but we really couldn’t grow.
Anything you can reasonably bring is appreciated. We usually have about 10 stations running games (that’s what c3 owns alone), and that doesn’t count any people may bring. Unfortunately, we don’t have that many PS2’s, so those are always welcome.
Who exactly is team hate? The TGA thread had like 5 people talking about coming down, Smooth, Barnhill, and some other people. Are they in or what? I’ll get a headcount ASAP.
