Rules

Double Elmination

Seeded brackets based off of week 2 and week 3 tournaments

two out of three matches, two out of three rounds

Winners Finals 3 out of 5 matches

Losers Finals 3 out of 5 matches

Grand Finals 3 out of 5 matches

Vega and Akuma allowed.

Start button colors are not allowed.

We will do the same start time as the last 2 weeks. 10PM EST, 9PM CST, 8PM MT, 7PM PT, 3AM GMT

How things will work… I will make the bracket shortly before the tournament begins. Please be on time. Once the bracket is made, half of you will receive a message from me on who you will be playing. The person who gets the message from me will be the host of the room, and will invite the person I let them know they have to play. The winner of the match will then report to me, and once your next match is available to play out, I will then follow the same thing where I will send a message to one person to start a room, and you will play your next match.

THIS IS A DOUBLE ELIMINATION TOURNAMENT. If you lose one match, you ain’t done, son. If you can’t stick around, please let me know. YOU HAVE 5 MINUTES TO REPORT TO YOUR MATCH. If you do not get started within a reasonable amount of time, you will be considered as forfeit, so that we may proceed with the tournament.

Gonna suggest what a couple other dudes said in the other thread, it would be easier to organize if you used an AIM or IRC chat. Have them use the client at http://www.efnet.org/ or their own, and make the channel like #PSNHDremix. That way you have everyone right there.

And I guess I’ll just message you at 10 next week if Im around for it, no sense in having the big ole sign up list if dudes aren’t actually in til next week.

Also +1 for using AIM to coordinate matches. It’s just too much of a pain to use PSN text.

Syxx, thanks for organizing the next tourney. If you don’t already have the tournament maker software, I highly recommend it.

If I understand correctly, signups don’t start till Friday night, so why are you guys signing up?

I would vote for the IRC/AIM usage, but I use my ethernet cable to connect to the net on my PS3, so its either one or the other.

@ blitz - He said let the signups begin I’m guessing he wants an overview of who’ll be there in this thread and then he’ll see who is actually around at the time of the tournament. Kinda makes sense.

@ syxx - Just encase any other crazy EU people wanna sign up, add that it starts at 3am GMT.

its ok, i don’t need tournament maker software, I’ve run plenty of tournaments, but if i end up playin at my friends i might use it depending on how big it is
