Unfortunately, I’ll most likely will not make this tournament. I got a flat tire coming down 95 and have no spare. I’m stuck at the rest area waiting for someone to bring me a spare tire. Sorry, Moose. I really wanted to come, but I guess things just didn’t work out. I’ll make sure to make a donation when I get back home.

Shit was really fun even though I wasn’t able to be there until like 7 or so. I probably would’ve been there all day if it weren’t for fucking All County Band taking up my time. I was down at All County Band at like 8 in the morning for rehearsal until like 4:30 which was when the concert started. That shit dragged on FOR GODDAMN EVER.

I was really sad when not only was I too late to enter ST, but VS didn’t even happen at all. I was so hungry for those games. They’re like the only ones I can do any good at anymore. :frowning:

Oh well, I had a great time playing some ST casuals and learning 3S. Makoto is such a goddamn fun character. I feel like I did really well in that game for it being the first time I really got to play some people in matches. The couple of bits and pieces that I remembered from looking at the forums/learned as I played really helped me out.

Also, goddamn, I really need to get used to round sticks. I love the feel of them which is why I ordered a JLW to put in my TE a while ago, but I can’t execute for crap on them yet. Too used to playing on JLF.

We better have some VS action next time though. I will straight up body some folks in that shit.

Also, shoutouts to keninblack for probably being the only person down there younger than me. Man, I thought I was really young for playing good games.

Thanks to all who showed up and showed their support. From the $50 dollar donation by Chris for Dan Hibiki. To the 1 dollar donation on several characters. When everyone’s donations together raised over 600 dollars to fight SIDS and give my beautiful daughter a nice memorial. Shout outs to Lud trolling in the finals and Ryry for giving me a free game by picking Makoto for the first game :)!.. I know who my true friends are and I will always leave my faith in the SRK community. One day when they find a cause and cure to all these terrible deaths and diseases, you can tell your kids and family that you were a part of ending that. God bless and have a Happy New Year.

Thanks! the suspense was killing me haha I havent been able to check this site all day til now. My girlfriend went with me yesterday and she was actually asking me If I ever found out who won. Apparently she intends to learn to play after yesterday’s events…fingers crossed!
