Spiral Series Entertainment presents Muji-Con 3: Q Quickening!

Evo is over and as usual, the fighting game scene has come a long way. Our scene may very well explode with all the inspiration that this past tournament season has given us. With Muji-Con 3, we continue our theme of welcoming new players into our Arizona scene. It’s a free event, so bring your friends and get them to try out a game or two!

We will be hosting our main two tournaments in the large room at the University of Advancing Technology, with a few side rooms for BYOC and side tournaments. More on this later. As usual, please be respectful of the venue and the players, we are essentially in a classroom that people pay tuition for and so there’s no reason to trash the place and make it harder on everyone.

We will be running two main events: Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition v.2012 and Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3. If you do not play either of these games, no worries! We will have a BYOC area for side tournaments. We have heard the community express interest in seeing tournaments for The King of Fighters 13, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Injustice, and Street Fighter x Tekken. If each of these games’ respective scenes are interested in throwing a tournament for their game, please send a message to Jon Toy (Tsumuji) or Terrence Carter (T-Dot) about it. SSE cannot guarantee setups for any specific game outside of the main two, but we can help you organize the space needed, fit it within the schedule, and promote it with the rest of the tournaments. We also encourage you to welcome new players and to help grow your scene. Should you not have the means to run a tournament, we will still welcome anyone who brings a setup with their game for casuals/friendlies (If space becomes limited however we will put priority on the side tournaments). Please work with either Tsumuji or T-Dot to help schedule time throughout the day.

Lastly, please invite all your friends! This event is about growing the community as quickly as possible with the post-Evo wave of new players. Even if they don’t have an Xbox controller or stick, lend them one! There shouldn’t be any excuses not to give the tournament a try if you have even a passing interest in fighting games.

ill be there, I wont have a stick till next month though… but it’ll be fun anyways.

^ Great, and I am certain that quite a few people will be willing to lend their stick to you, so it should be fine. Please spread the word.

Also, SSE UPDATED the event with prize info, sponsors, side tournaments and more!
