I know all you guys are tired as fuck, hot as fuck, and most likely burnt out after Fuddruckers. But in case you find yourself bored on a monday evening:

Drom’s Comics and Cards will host three events in celebration of its one-year anniversary next week. The store is at 231 G St., Suite 4, in downtown Davis.

On Monday, the shop will host a Street Fighter IV tournament with more prize money than typically offered at its Monday night tournaments. Sign-ups begin at 4 p.m. with the contest starting at 4:30 p.m.

Entry is $5 per person (the store’s cut is $1 each). The shop will match the total prize pool to boost the first place prize for this tournament only.

For example, if 12 people participate, the prize pool would be $48. The first place winner would get 70 percent of the pot, second place would get 20 percent and third place would get 10 percent. Using this example, the first place winner would get an additional $48 contributed by the store.

Double Eliminationg, All Characters Legal, Playstation 3, and HAS AIR CONDITIONING THAT IS COLD AS FUCK.

Yeah we totally slacked on promoting this event. We had the intention of hyping it up at fuddruckers lastnight but it was so hot/busy that it slipped all our minds. No real excuse about posting this so late… just forgot =(

yes there are two HRAPS, and players tend to bring HAPP sticks as well. So there will be both Japanese and American sticks available.

hmmm that last line nearly has me sold on it’s own after last night haha. idk if i’ll be able to make it, would make 3 tourney’s in 3 days and idk if i have the energy for all that.

on the other hand though… 2 tourneys now 2 and out… making me hungry to get a W
