I’m placing my hopes on you, MP.
Lead the town to victory.
The mafia won’t be able to touch you.
If my sacrifice is necessary for the path to victory you envision, then I have zero qualms on dying.
I just didn’t want the town to waste their scum-hunting opportunities on a civ, especially not when our enemy is before my eyes.
Well, if I’m OZ and I are the only ones who can see him, then so be it.
Best wishes, I merely want to seal this game for us civs with my propositions.
Hence, why I stepped up this badly.
There are other paths, and one of them is me dying and OZ confirming what role Synonym really has by investigating him.
The other is Synonym dying to a lynch today, to which I fear have no chances of happening.
With all due respect, Mobius, you’re not free and clear yet, unless Synonym dies mafia and that’s the ball game.
If pietastic pulled a WWPWD on Co-Jones, you best bet you’ll be on the block unless orochi can clear you. (You know, barring the fact that orochi survives to do so.)
REAL UC, I’m feeling a waste would be to launch an investigation on the opposite mafia. Might as well for fun, but I honestly think I’m sure what to expect in the next day phase.
I can already tell you which way I’m leaning is to lynch Synonym. I feel like orochi couldn’t play so dumb as mafia even as a Yomi because it’s orochi, and orochi is always on the lynch block because he plays like this. I could be wrong, but I say we off Synonym, then if he’s UC, off Mobius, then follow up on orochi.
But I think I said earlier in the thread that Synonym’s quasi-reminiscent of his RE game play where he was Wesker. I may be damned for not following through with that earlier, but there were more pressing people to go after at that time.
I just got off an 11-hour shift at the hospital so you’ll forgive me for not replying sooner.
I’m honestly baffled at how ridiculously complicated everyone is making this game. I’ve been busting my balls all game to try and help and now that I’m finally getting acknowledged you assholes want to lynch me?
I think it was PW earlier who said that Chief was the mafia mastermind and that once he was killed the mafia would start acting like headless chickens. Guess what? Mobius has completely lost his composure. You know, that composure that wasn’t touched last game because HE stayed off everyone’s radars. @Missing_Person, you’re quick to bring up my performance in the RE game but Mobius actually won the last game he played in and he was mafia to boot. You can’t have it both ways. I’ve said this every single game, but using past game logic is a horrible idea. “Oh Synonym, you did amazing in the RE game (but still lost). That must mean you’re mafia.”
You assholes were calling me as mafia in the TF2 LL from day 1 last game and look where that got you? That’s why I’m against past-game logic.
And I haven’t been “off the radar” this game. My name has been hotly contested for some time. But now that my worth is finally revealed you want to kill me? To tell you what? That I was telling the truth? I’ve already told you the result I got and short of GR lying, Mobius is guilty.
OZ has been flakey as hell this game. Saying that I’m somehow more guilty than him because I haven’t been playing like a total retard is even stupider than lynching the UC instead of the mafia member. OZ gets away with a lot because everyone just laughs and say “Oh that OZ, he’s role claimed several roles, been 10 pages behind all game and hasn’t contributed anything of worth”.
If my legacy in these games is to get lynched or mafia killed every single time based on my debut performance then maybe I’ll just stop playing. These games are a hell of a lot of fun, but for some reason when it comes to me everyone just throws logic out the window.
Lynch Mobius. Twice. And when he’s proven guilty I’m calling you all a bunch of idiots until the next game. I wonder if I can get GR to include that in the write up?
Tell me, oh so-called detective, who claimed I’m am he who is Guilty, why does the town need you alive?
Can’t you simply see that your death and the affirmation of your role** will serve better than you **living and causing doubts and confusion among our ranks?
Ah, but, that could only be seen from the side of the civilians, so it’s no wonder you cannot.
How about dying for a noble cause, Synonym?
What’s there to lose, Synonym?
Do you really think the town will lose if they hold off my execution for a day longer and lynch you instead? Prove to the town that you’re the real detective. Through death, the town shall know what side your allegiance belongs to.
Oh, but, personally, I don’t want you to be lynched to prove you’re the detective.
I want you to get lynched because you’re a mafia and you’re not the detective.
The only way I see you can have any use is if you die and let the town confirm with their own eyes what side you truly are on.
Seeing as the gambler did not use her ability even after you, the “detective”, placed a “guilty” verdict on me, she’s mafia, don’t you agree?
If that’s the case, what reason do we have to keep you, if your “ability” is powerless against her?
The only use I can make out off you is die and reveal who you truly are.
Who knows, you might be able to disprove OZ’s claim~ You cannot.
And oh yeah, I always checked as Innocent in the Resident Evil game too. Yeah, I was more than happy to offer up one of my own, too, when that was me, Syn.
You’re trying awfully hard to ignore the fact that you’re mafia. I’m still not understanding your “logic” at all.
Apparently, if the town lynches me tomorrow there will be no confusion as to my allegiance?
Wouldn’t the same be true if they lynched you for a second time tomorrow? If you die as a civilian then it’s quite obvious who the mafia is. I’d eat a lynch vote and it would be GG’s to the civilians.
BUT, if we lynch me tomorrow and it’s revealed that I’m civilian all it’s done is given you a boost to your personal tier rating. You’ll most certainly get S-Rank for making the town lynch their own UC when the mafia member that UC has identified sit there laughing.
Your attempts are laughable at best.
As for OZ, well, he hasn’t really known what’s been going on for the last 66 pages. Why would that have suddenly changed the second the (potentially) second last mafia member was about to get lynched? I wonder…
Here’s the deal civilians:
We lynch Mobius a second time. His allegiance is confirmed and then we move on with our lives.
I am also investigating someone tonight that will hopefully be able to be a confirmed civilian going forward.
On the off-chance I get killed tonight then I would strongly urge you to follow through with the Mobius lynch before he manages to spin another story. (Perhaps GR was the real mafia all along).
But, from reading Mobius’s attempts at incriminating me it looks like Hecatom or RF will be getting killed tonight to further implicate me. Do not be dissuaded from the most logical course of action.
If you aren’t 100% satisfied with the outcome of Mobius’s lynch then I give you full consent to kill me next. I can certainly attest that my role only takes one lynch to kill.
Of course, if Mobius is civ, then we know who the UC is, and orochi needs to just NOT WASTE HIS TIME INVESTIGATING SYNONYM AT ALL IF THAT’S TRUE, and investigate Forge, IL, or Augustus.
Fair enough. I’ve just posted something similar to this effect but I’ll sign off on it. Will you do the same @Mobius? We’ll be seeing each other in hell fairly soon.
I would like to extract one promise from you though MP.
In all games going forward you will stop bringing up my performance solely in the RE game. Seriously, that’s a mighty huge feat that I have yet to replicate and all it does is makes me look guilty and gets me killed in every other game.
Because the only way that Synonym could make this claim is if he’s the gambler. He’d have to feel himself hard to make a bogus UC role claim as anyone else with the UC still in. Investigating him would be a waste of time. Either way, he’s dying at this point, IMO. No matter which way the gallows come down on you, Synonym is on borrowed time.
Besides, with the gambler out, we all know what mindfuck’s going to happen.
Synonym: I investigated orochi, he’s innocent. Guys, he has to be the gambler. LYNCH HIM!
orochi: I investigated Synonym, he’s innocent. Guys, he has to be the gambler. LYNCH HIM!
I’m not going to have us waste time in indecisiveness next day phase with that stupid trope. I say we set on an unwavering course next day phase to avoid it.
HOW DOES THE PLAN FOR NEXT DAY PHASE LOOK NOW, MAFIA?!
I’ll do my best to, but notes are notes, and if I see anything that strikes me that’s happened before, I may comment on it.
But early game, I’ll try not to get you killed unless I’m 100% sure that you’re mafia. But hell, I do that to everybody anyway. I go in when I’m convinced something smells, no matter what.
