Dorm is B tier, Say hello to Vajra and Hidden Missile assist… not to mention Viper,Zero,Hawkeye,Magneto,Wesker and Vergil on point him for free.

Lol i have no problem being a mediocre player… maybe you’re giving yourself a little too much credit. Yea you can charge hands in all those instances im not trying to break down dormmamu in a post, and explain all the ways to get charges. Obviously im not just throwing out stalking flares just to get charges but that’s the safest time to get all 3, no? You’ve never thrown out a stalking flare charged hands and then tried to set something up?
Im mostly talking about his keepaway in my post, so… sorry since you seem offended that i disagreed with you. I guess its just me, When I see an opponent super-jump I usually have a pillar up ahead of them or a flame carpet to try to deter from jumping (they never do stop 
) because im predicting they’re going to jump. If i get em in a block string that ends in dark matter, I have a dark hole at the location I’m predicting them to be. If they I just find that some of his moves are too slow and unsafe to risk reacting to, but I guess you can just attribute that to my mediocre play.
I am aware of the difference between Zoning and keepaway, and honestly in a fast paced game like this its kinda hard to do the traditional zoning you speak of with things like meteor smash in the game lol. Im not trying to get in an argument just simply disagreeing with you.

Dormammus the one that has to try harder. Hes a B+ Tier character, how many majors has a dorm player topped? Compared to his counters/bad match ups…

1 major, although thats a ridiculous standard to put on a character, are all characters that haven’t won a major B tier now? Shit man, it should be obvious by now that results are determined by the players, not the characters. Y’know, kind of how like Iron Fist isn’t an S-tier character, Justin Wong is just an S-Tier player.

You literally just quoted a post that gave you an example of a low tier winning a major. Why would you even try to cite NCR as a sole source? Tournament was the laughing stock of majors as far as those go, and an extremely small sample size to pull from, why don’t you look at what placed first at FR? SCR? Even the so-called B Tier Dormammu took Apex free ( I believe it was Apex, and yes I consider it a major )

Assists get raped by Dorm anywhere on the screen. How is hidden missiles raping a teleporting character?
The only character that they mentioned to be a hard match-up for Dorm is Zero.
Viper - Get off theory Vipers, I don’t see this happening at all. Marlinpie currently stands for the best Viper player and I haven’t seen anything mind-blowing from that character other than fancy combos. Doom and Ammy are the ones making all the work in his team.
Zero - Yeah, this one is okay, I won’t argue about it. BTW, Zero is a bad match-up for almost everyone in the cast.
Hawkeye - Seriously?? Dorm is a fucking teleporter which is already bad enough for Hawkeye, and has flight mode which he can use to move around, unfly for blocking, better hyper combos, etc. Dorm IS THE BAD MATCH-UP for Hawkeye.
Magneto - Dorm has better tools, better Hyper combos than Magneto, better damage and he can cut through disruptor while tri-dashing against Magnus with air S. Magneto only beats Dorm when it comes to speed, however, Dorm has teleports. Not saying he beats Magneto for free because they are almost on the same level, but Magneto isn’t a bad match-up for Dorm.
Vergil - They are on the same level, that’s not a bad match-up but not a good one either.

Dorm destroys assists full screen and to be fair… Dorm can bring assists as well.
Seriously, learn your stuff.

Teleport M? Get hit by missiles as they go up.
Teleport H? Get scooped.
Teleport L? You’re now in a bad position, and could possibly get scooped.
Vipes - Since when did I mention theory Viper? Standard Viper play is enough lmao, especially with an assist like Strider. Strider’s assist stops you from using any of your specials for free, and you can’t derp around with tri-jumps either. Meanwhile Viper can use optic blast to clear the screen of assists or she can make her way in while you’re forced to deal with Strider. EX seismo will also blow up any attempt to Tri-jump H/S. Thinking of random Chaotic Flame? She can just super on reaction to punish you.
Hawkeye - Feel free to teleport in on Hawkeye so you can get scooped. Gimlay to all the Tri-dash nonsense. Not to mention his arrows are fast enough to catch you in the starup of your teleport. Can’t use any specials either because his fire power is too intense for Dorm to deal with.
Magneto - Disruptor is better than any special Dorm has outside of charged hands. It serves the same function as Wesker’s Samurai Edge which is a quick horizontal projectile that disrupts Dormammu’s flow, and puts him at frame disadvantage from full screen. Magneto can play the air game a lot better than Dormammu, especially if he’s using Magnetic Blast. This match-up is in Magneto’s favour unless it starts on Dormammu’s terms. Oh, and no Dorm is going to be swiping away disruptors on reaction.
Vergil - lol this match-up is ass. Can’t do anything because if he happens to teleport, you die. Also, jump back Helm Breaker for defense against tri-jump tactics.
Interesting to see how this thread went from zoning to being an extension of the SRK UMvC3 tier thread involving Dormammu.

MODOK is one of the best characters for shutting down opponent’s long-range options.
