You’re either trolling or have no idea what you’re talking about.
Better to do j.S as it hits small crouching characters too. Can do TK L Sentzuizan (feint) into j.M cr.M too. Cold Star’s best for this it seems as well as drones since both last longer than JS.
you mean there are other zeros that can pull off this tremendous feat?
Just about everyone who posts here can tbh. Hes the only one who’ve Ive seen that doesn’t tiger knee though.

Yep it’s really good w/ coldstar too. Especially in the corner. And after you TK the motion and hit them w/ the unblockable you can follow up w/ the D loop for around 550K or so damage which is pretty good in my opinion
Also I guess I should use the unblockable more w/ my character when they have less than half health left and they are in the corner. I get a guaranteed kill and the only way they can get out is by cross over counter
Yeah most of the good lockdown assists can. I need to work on my D-loop so I don’t look like such a fraud after I set someone up. Maybe when I have a stick to actually practice on I will.
D loop isn’t that hard man. And do you play on pad? Also you just have to time the dloop for your shadow to hit the air medium as you do zero’s dive move. Also practice it in the different xfactor levels if you ever plan on using xfactor for it since the timing is different.
I’m a stick player, but my stick broke on me the weekend of ECT. I’ve got an Eightarc on the way now, but it’s been a long time since I was actually able to practice. I can’t play the game at all on pad. I used to know D-loop from vanilla, though I diddn’t play Zero (just training mode monstering, whatever). It’s just another thing I can add to the list of things that need doing, along with actually learning how to play Vergil besides going ham.
People still use the D-Loop?
it’s still viable if you get a hit confirm in sougenmu near the corner… man doin the d-loop makes me miss the good ol’ dhc glitch days.
If you can kill w/ it why not? Much safer than LLing.
I think I’m gonna make it part of my mission to be the most “common sense” Zero ever. You know those times when people are thinking “Ok, he’s gonna LL… I hope he drops it!” - I’m not gonna give em the chance. You only got 300-500k left - you’re getting DHC’d or D-Looped.
Yep, I wanna be that guy that plays mad corny, but can’t lose.
You can D loop 3 reps then set up a hkd were you can rek or LL. 2 meters but 800k garunteed if done right ( not counting ll reps )

managed to teach myself D-loop on a pad so I could see some damage numbers… off of the unblockable setup, you can do c.M, s.H, Shippuga, [s. S, j. M xx H Sentsuizan] x 3, s. S, j. MMHS. After that I could still get the Vergil assist extension too, so I could do like 920 with a rekkoha if I’m feeling lazy, or LL starting from around 820k.
How often do each of you practice LL/zero stuff per day/week? <_<
Just curious.
I’ve almost stopped playing Zero in training mode, feel like I got conversions from every situation down to a tee. But still go through all his combos (ones on the front page) and a few side switch into LL ones a handful of times.
So…Maybe an hour tops with Zero every other day. Spend like 4+ hours with other chars though. Strider seems to be so fucking under developed looking at the boards and shit.
I havent practiced in about a month. With any of my characters. I’ve got a new stick now tho so I’ll be going in hard!
Right when I wake up I do a few Lightning loop reps then mid day I’ll do a few and some combos and at night I do more Dante/Vergil Combos. My ps3 is always on so when I’m in my room at any moment I practice. I suggest first thing ij the morning and before you go to bed for 'LL so you train under unnatural conditions which helps your mental kick in harder. If you need help training pm me

i play a lot of characters so i dont practice zero much. maybe twice a week i’ll practice confirming off my usually mixups and doing lightning loops for 20-30 minutes. playing zero wont really help you learn the movement required to play everyone else in the cast though lol
I don’t practice Zero anymore unless some new tech comes out. But I play Zero in every actual game so that’s kinda like practice anyway.
everyday whenever I have time. can LL pretty consistently on my right side but working to get the timing down on my left side more.
