Zero as an assist

EviltoasterFP:
"Zero is easily capable of 100%'s. They require assists, but that’s what they’re for. That’s why Zero’s better on point. So he can use the assists he has available to him. He doesn’t even need meter to start a combo, and builds way more than enough bar to finish off anyone. 100%'ing with Zero is no problem ever. You don’t even need the lightning loop.

Trust me, I know Zero. Having 2 assists is what makes Zero the best he can be. He doesn’t need high levels of X-Factor, he doesn’t need meter, all he needs is a full team and the opponent in blockstun."

Can you please show me a video where you 100% someone with zero without XF or meter. I really want to level up my zero and would love to turn him into a TOD character.

Wow those are some nice combos. They seem a little too demanding for me however, especially seeing as how they require certain assists. What I try to focus on is setting up resets instead of 100% combos, especially since it seems that minute-long combos have been deemphasized in ultimate. I find that once you get pressure on with Zero, it’s really hard for them to get away.

Anyway this is a Zero assist thread. I am still having a hard time deciding which assist to use. However, in ultimate, with air xfactor, ryuenjin (the uppercut) would be a good crossover counter. Especially with the emphasis on air battles, having an anti-air seems like a good idea.
