is there an analog button on the board for the ps2? Might work great with an Xtokki for a Xbox360 compatible stick as analog is needed for the guide. If not i know the rematch boards have an L3, so that paired with the select button will bring up the xbox guide according to the converters manual i believe. I have the original rematch board it works awesome!
The PS2 plus ZD/PCB is a very good deal!
That will take care of something like at least 65% of us unless we have to have compatibillity across ALL systems…
I’ll keep this PCB in mind since I still have a half-dozen empty shells/partially refitted joysticks to complete.
This PCB/cord/combo might go into 2-3 of those cases…
(Goes without saying, I’d still go with MC Cthulu for my Sega needs… No intention of buying a 360PCB although I might buy a 360 stick and upgrade with a Kitty in the future.)
Has anyone tested this pcb in a hitbox style control? If so was there any issues with pressing down+up or left+right? Or will I need an sodc cleaner from toodles
Well, I I am not sure if the PS3 home button functions as the analog button on the PS2 or not. I will have to check with the manufacturer. Unfortunately, most my PS2 collection got lost in my last move. All I have left is Tekken Tag and the Sims, and I don’t think either of those games have any change based on whether or not the analog is pushed, so I don’t think I can test myself. I will let you know if the I find anything out though.
you have to order it separately it’s stated in the ebay page for the board. if you click his ebay name in the corner it’ll take you to a page with the usb/ps2 cable item listing.
The PS2 cables are currently gone. Someone bought up my entire inventory of them yesterday. Didn’t buy encoders though. Must have thought they were a good deal for hacking purposes. I will be ordering more cables. This time around I will be selling them bundled with encoders instead of individually since I was selling the cables at cost. All my cables sold off, and I made like 18 cents in profit. Haha. I guess I didn’t think people would be trying to buy them individually.
It will probably be about 15 days until I have the new shipment in. Sorry about the confusion there.
How does the stick switch (POV hat, xy-axis) work? Is it a button or can it be implemented using a DPDT?
I am really interested for at least two ZD Rematch pcb’s. How’s international shipping gonna work out (Philippine Islands)? I might also have someone buy it for me in US if I deem it too much of a hassle.
EDIT: If I buy it off eBay, I am getting .110 quick disconnects and a 5-pin joystick connector yes?
Yes, I can do .187QDs. I can also sub out the 5-pin with 4 QD wires as well. Just send a message of what you want for wires when purchasing.
Yeah, it always dominates on down with both U and D are pushed. Same with Left when L and R are pushed. SOCD cleaner would be needed.
The POV Hat is pretty much for PC use. There is a button that will switch the joystick to POV hat, and it can be used to set up a secondary set of joystick controls. Also good for setting up function commands. There is a button toggle for it, so any momentary switch could be used to switch to POV Hat
I ship internationally, you should be able to calculate it on the ebay page.
The Rematch does come with .110 QDs and a 5-pin joystick connector. If you want to swap out the 5 pin for wires, or change .110s to .187s, just make a note on the puchase and I can make the substitute.
PS2 compatibility?! This will make modding projects much more easier and I hope the Etokki Xtokki PS2 to 360 converter works with it! Is it possible to have a PS2 only cable work on it?
Do you have a wiring diagram for these new red ZD’s? They no longer have the PS3 button notation just numbered buttons, and I’m also not sure which one is supposed to be the Home button on them.
