I don’t think so filldoh, the combo he does in that sequence is meaty st.hk, c.lp, st.lk xx super. There can’t be a counter hit from c.lp to st.lk in this example. Something is wrong there.

Sorry I didn’t even look I just assumed that was why they connected. After watching the video I have no clue why that connected. Carter was that part from season one?

Cr. LP is +5 on hit in season 2. Pretty sure it was confirmed that Cr. LP > St. LK > Lariat works now.

Maybe because it’s training mode and he has counter on. Is it counting the counter hit in the entire combo?

Nah, that’s can’t be it. I suspect that video is from season 1. The hitbox on lariat in one of the combos looks smaller than it would in the update.

Counterhit off except for the akuma stun combo.

Only the first hit to second hit has the property of the counterhit the rest is normal.
I could be wrong though.

You’re right, but what Carter is saying here is that after the st.hk, you can make cr.jab hit on a later active frame than just the first (there are 3 total active frames). This means that cr.jab here is either +5 or +6 and can combo to st.lk. Figuring out the spacing to get cr.jab to hit meaty after the st.hk is the weird part though.
