I beat one of my friend who plays karin
He keep complaining gief is overpowered, cuz he think:
- Giefs clp is op, very good and long poke, can stop most of karins poke braindeadlly.
- Giefâs vskill is braindeaded and spammable, much more easier than ryus parry
- Lariat can stop her cross up completely
- The grab range of LSPD is too huge
- The wake up vskill is OP
I get complained about 100 times after each time I beat him (He is a 4000lp gold karin player), and he thinks gief should be nerfed hard, how do u guys think? 
Tell your friend to main gief for a week and then ask his opinion.

Yep, you can flex that and go for SPD or CA depending on the distance.
By the way, guys vtrigger allows vskill to flex an unlimited amount of attacks. Maybe thereâs more usage for this with vtrigger activated. You will be risking a lot of white life depending on what you flex, though.
the advice is fantastic but dont flex the fireball unless he is doing it at max range it is -10, free spd all day long.
This is why gief never gets buffed in games. Scrubs always hate gief because they have to play him different than the rest of the cast. No one ever seems to mind Ryu having a move(srk) that beats every single thing in the game but gief has a move(spd) that beats one thing(down back) and everyone is pissed off.

I was thinking after the flex you can can foward, release mp+mk for the flex hit then v trigger for counter hits.

Yes, the gief discord is alive! Whatever major concrete findings we might find can be put here on the forums. It will probly start making things alot cleaner since weâre to get alot of the hashing and discussion done in the discord.
And like my session with mesen, if you guys have friends that play certain characters, we could arrange games so other giefs who might not have access to that MU can play them in lounges.
My chun teammate was pretty haggard at the end of our session though since he had to deal with him and a Gief named supasage69. He was like âwtf you guys have been working on some degenerate shitâ after seeing the various things weâve come up with be implemented, so weâre definitely getting somewhere, lol
I faced off against two Giefâs not sure if one of them post here. He was higher ranked and we both went for the flex time out first round.
The second Gief rage quit after I beat him.
Also split a series against a platinum Cammy player who RQ when I took the third set.

Those matches last night were incredible. Your Vega friend was great too. If your teammate was frazzled at the end, I was hyperventilating and dehydrated. Great learning experience that pushed me to the limits of my game so far. Hopefully we can get more people to collaborate and help us all break through to that next level.
