I remember the whole atl south including mixup hyped him up and shin blanka I think wouldn’t release footage. When he came to california for evo, potter admiited WK was better than him (potter is way better now). I’m just curious.

OK, Fugee made me implement multi-word support in the archive search, so now if you want to see games between Mixup and JMar and are lazy,

    works fine. That’s just the external “instant look-up” URL - you should be able to figure out how to use it. For example entering “Wong Guile” will show you Wong matches where he uses Guile.

I don’t know how useful this is, but – it at least helped Fugee out.

I’ve got some footage on a VHS tape that I’m interested in sharing. Any suggestions on how I should go about encoding it? I’ve got one of those Dazzle things. I’ve tried Windows Movie Maker, but it doesn’t work since I have Windows 2000. I’ve also tried Sony Vegas, but whenever I try to encode, the framerate is really bad and the sound lags and is too loud (and of poor quality).

Suggestions? :\

^-- It’s entirely possible that my last round of changes broke it for Firefox. Use IE there for now. I’ll fix it up when I get a chance later, but I need to fix up the server’s SSH support before I could be able to edit it. =P So probably no sooner than 24 hours. Thanks for the news.

Windows Media Encoder is working out much better :tup: The only problem I’m having now is I’m getting a subpar framerate. I’m trying to encode at 30 fps, but instead I keep getting about 25, despite lowering the quality. Any ideas?

Ken: Firefox 2.0 works perfectly on the archive search page… this sounds like a problem on your end… ?

Carney (The Qualified - nice work!): I don’t know what your performance meters are looking like - you may want to check system status during encode with Task Manager. But this kind of thing sounds much better suited for the “Tech Talk” forum. If you do offline/non-real-time encoding, you may get better performance.

I don’t know what the hell you’re doing nor how you’re failing. I bet IE would work. My Firefox hasn’t been tinkered with either and is working just fine on this page. (Which is nice, since I really hadn’t tested that. :lol:)

A: Go back to “50” results for now. Anything over 50 gets real slow real fast (remember this is all Javascript done on your side).
B: You have JavaScript turned off or disabled on your end. I can tell because the page says “Showing foo results”, which can only happen if the script didn’t even start. Since there’s no errors – voila, this is indeed a problem only on your machine. When SSH is working again on my server (problem is with their helpdesk now), I’ll update the page to tell you that for this case.

white knight wasn’t crazy good even back then, we were just scrubs who had never seen storm/sent.

finally someone that can appreciate it. I was afraid that this video would not be appreciated in our time, and vercette would only get top tier status posthumously. Hopefully this kind of feedback would encourage vercette to brainstorm and come up with more “original” combos and breath much needed new life into this game.
