The funny thing is that my obsession with custom color Marvel came out precisely because at a tournament in Vancouver I couldn’t see black Blackheart / Sent on a stupid / bad arcade monitor on the (black) factory stage.
People can obviously fuck this up easily, it’s making good / great things that’s the challenge and fun.

Does anyone have links to some good Colossus and Gief match vids? I don’t play MvC2 much but I usually use those 2 and I’d like to see how they’re best used.
Search for VDo. he uses Rogue/Collosus/Ken. Also, one of preppy’s friends uses gief, but the vids of him are usually him getting fucked up.

I use colossus, and I am ususally getting beat in those vids. Brian is the guy using gief, and I am sure his best performances are not on tape.

hey preppy those ncr7 vids always pause in the middle like its doesnt work no more do you get that trouble to , its for vlc player only? i cant played it on my meida player etc… or tell me does it froze for you. also what player prog do you use.

So, yes, MOV files generally suck. Sorry. It should work in QuickTime Player. Anything else will only maybe work and I don’t recommend it.

The thing is, you can play “low tier” but you have to have a team with solid chemistry around them. Picking 3 underdogs without having a plan to fit them together won’t help.

You must be some sort of dumb fuck, you think that team has a chance in hell against the giant robot known as Sentinel. There is a reason you never see those characters in any vids, and a damn good reason.
Yeah, sadly my digital camera records in MOV so I can’t change that unless I convert it to a different format. However, in doing so I’d loss a good amount of quality (which is why the vids are also very beefy in size). So yeah, get quicktime or RealPlayer to play it well…though I dunno why VLC isn’t having it.
As for the Colossus/Gief/Kobun setup, it’s pretty hard to use that team effectively since I don’t see a good pairing of point/assist attack patterns that a typical low-tier team would need. Trust me, I play Zangief in every game including MvC2 (though he’s not on my main MvC2 team) and very few work well with Gief on point. The only person I like with him on point is Juggs since his Ground assist pushes the opponent back the same distance as a roundhouse.Aerial Russian Grab so it’s a slow ass rush down.
