Hey, I already said I played terrible. :lol:
- All my Megaman combos were broken, hyper megaman not coming out
- My Cable’s timing was off
- Tron’s positioning was off (too low on-screen), the kobun copters weren’t coming out, king kobun not coming out
A lot of this was just my basic suckitude, bad positioning, part of it may have been wearing shoes(?!?) since I usually play barefoot - I only noticed later on in the day that JWong and JAL were taking their shoes off, and part of was the bloody/broken middle finger (you’ll notice this mostly in that my FP and RH presses are dodgy). But, hey, I clearly have interesting ideas but shitty shitty execution. No worries: it was a lot of fun, and I gave Sanfy a decent scare in game one.
I think what happened is that I overcompensated for the finger injury, so was getting FP down a lot sooner than LP, and thus fucking myself time after time after time. (Like you’ll see me do dumb stuff like FP buster when I wanted Hyper Megaman - a sign that LP is coming out way way late comparatively.) Hindsight is 20/20. :lol: I was just glad that I was able to play at all - I was really worried I was going to permanently damage my finger, but it’s all mostly healed now. And thankfully Chunk reminded me that he had something similar when he visited, which calmed down my panic.
The Sentinel combo was OK. I think that the Morrigan on Tron is much more note-worthy, but then again I play against great Sentinels all the time, so I’m used to it. :sad: That’s supposed to be protected by a Kobun copter, but you’ll note that those just weren’t coming out - any time Sentinel is far side flying or jumping upwards, copter that noise. The fact that I wasn’t doing that? GGPO. :lol:
I like Sanford over me 7 out of 9 times or so. I don’t know. Before the second game I gave him a hint I shouldn’t have given him. :lol:

^^^ Prep I was actually thinking while watchin that one that execution was the ONLY thing that held you back. Good shit to you if you get your block/victory button working. Tron v. Sent lookin strong.

Yeah, I didn’t realize (didn’t think about it) until two months ago that my middle finger is 3/4 inch longer (just measured it) than my pointer finger, which is why I usually press FP faster (less distance to button) anyways - I’m still working on compensating/adjusting. I suspect that the global switch to convex buttons from concave probably is a related factor. I may put in some concave buttons just to check and see if that fixes it up.
Hiro’s been trying to convince me to do double punch presses with ring and index finger - his reasoning being that those two fingers are the same length, so you shouldn’t push FP first that way. Too late for me at this point to try and change, but it might help you out.

I beg to differ. Not sharing = Not caring. If I knew how to edit my colors, i’d share it to the world. But, to one, its own.
I’m sorry, but your colors got NOTHING on Docmighty (with donaldducktm in the mix hehe). He hasn’t post up any new colors because I’m guessing he has other things to do.
Doc’s colors are awesome :bgrin: glad he hooked me up with them.
