I’d love to see Treasure do a full on fighter. But who knows, maybe it’s too costly to develop an arcade fighter these days, and Naomi has been emulated so maybe they don’t see much of a financial incentive to do one.

Probably the major thing is that they’re just not interested in such. After all, if even the likes of French Bread and Ecole can look into the likes of Sega’s Ringwide (based on Windows architecture) as a cheap alternative to getting into the arcade market, surely Treasure could have done so too. But that’s never been their MO.
