JD still needs to go to 1 for the TCG though >.>
fuck Konami, why the hell Emmersblade gotta be a secret rare? Was lookin forward to upgrading my X sabers, guess not.
Glad that DDraw and LS got hit.
For those that use Glads: Your thoughts on Prisma? I’ve considered getting one for a long time, but after trying it out with proxies, I always draw it when i don’t want to -_-;
But many people stressed that I need it, but I’m not convinced yet.
I haven’t seen Prisma played AT ALL in months.
lol just mad because LS stomps all over X-Sabers. I’m sure it can STILL beat that deck easy with the new ban list
LS eats almost any deck for free. I couldnt care less what X-Sabers can/cant beat but as long as they slow down LS from summoning that one broken ass card then its all good.
you mad

Metadecks like mermails to get individual cards can easily be more than $200…

I can make an anti-metadeck for about $50, but even an anti-meta deck barely beats mermails…

I wish I knew of some cards that shut them all the way the fuck down lol…
Also for Mermails break out some mind crush…

“Oh you want to add that to your hand? NIGGA FUCK YOU!!!MIND CRUSH”

Thunder King Raoh, Mirror Force, and Torrential Tribute… “So you really want to summon 4 monsters on the field… nigga fuck that too”

Grandmole against XYZ summon… once I clear the field, I let my opponents get some spirit reaper and robbin goblin love…

EDIT: Konami didn’t know what they were doing for folks like me… it was a wrap ever since they put that Mind Crush at 3… if you search your deck for anything, I’m throwing it away… getting rid of Sangan just made it worse…
What makes Magical/Prophecy decks so good? I wanted to break them back when they were introduce but couldn’t find the right combination. Now with the new support they got in other sets people have been commenting they are really good now but I never looked up what made them so good outside of a loop they seemed slow and easily breakable.

Also, we should know by now how Konami does their ban lists. They release a centrally focused theme in a new set and that theme gets a ton of support cards that somehow make them top tier. They don’t get hit in the upcoming ban list because they need to ride out the cash train of people who want the cards for fun and for people who are paying to win in competitive formats. The ban list after that, the top tier theme gets a hit to the point where they are unplayable in competitive formats or just scraping by. Conveniently there is either a new set or spoilers of a new set that has a new centrally focused theme that will be top tier in the meta after wards. Rinse and repeat.

There’s not enough good cards that deny costs like that. A lot of the key cards activate their effects when they hit the Graveyard so you can’t negate them at that point. D.D. Crow doesn’t work against them so you have to run cards like D.Fissure, Macro Cosmos, or Necrovalley to outright stop them from going off. However, it’s so easy for them to get started before you can run a strategy like that.
It doesn’t help that Solemn Warning is being limited to 1 per deck now so now it’s harder to stop field swarming reliably, allowing for more over extensions. The typical trap gambit of stopping over extensions like TT, Mirror Force, etc… aren’t as good anymore with the meta allowing for 3 MST’s, 1 Heavy Storm, 3 Night Beam’s, and a theme’s own removal options, there’s a lot of S/T removal at a player’s disposal.
^Prophecy of Transmigration is also now more useful than ever…
“Oh you targeting a monster in your graveyard now? Fuck that, it’s not in your graveyard anymore”
