I like this idea, I’ve had a small fantasy of doing something like this (I was gonna call it Forgotten Games Fridays, something cheesy ya know).
Be cool to see Tobal 2 and Super Dragonball Z, maybe even a Bloody Roar. I don’t know too much about these games, when it comes to a competitive level, but they look fun.
Basically. Kinda saddenned that Team Best from Now did the PR game. I dont wanna re-break down games that were already done.

Both really. But also to attempt to answer the question, why didnt these fighters sell better, get more attention, or get a tourney scene?
For many games the answer is simply because if it isnt Capcom or Namco then consumers DO NOT WANT!!!
But then there are games like Rival Schools. This game flew so far under the radar its at the bootom of the ocean where the sea monsters hang out. It only pushed a little over 500k in units. Battle Arena Toshinden pushed 1.27.
What the fuck happened here? Thats one of the things the show will look at.
Episodes are going to have any format? O mean, part 1: control and mechanics, part 2: small game backstory and intro. part 3: etc etc ?

Oh yeah, do a episode on Plasma Sword. I didn’t get a chance to play it, but I would like to know why exactly it flopped on release.
Mmmmm great. Going the extra mile would be to contact old game developers, or even FGC old heads that played some of those underrated games. I would LOVE to know WHAT felt the people that in their age played ST side to side to MKII and Primal Rage. Or even if Eternal Champions had a scene, stuff like that, to hear old stories of those games.

Not interested now. At all. And those are hardly underrated games, several of those games had side tourneys at Evo.

Virtually every game has had some sort of side tourney at EVO (I was watching people play on a Kaiser Knuckle cab at EVO 2012). Just because there was a side tournament for some Psychic Force 2012 doesn’t mean that it wasn’t underrated. I sure as hell didn’t see a cab at my local arcade back in 2000.
