My favorite has always been Solar Eclipse. The animation and setting on that level are nothing short of epic.
favorite: Skyscraper Under Construction (reminds me of Rolento, plus i play Guy)

Not a fan of any of the stages. I really miss the days of having character specific stages. That was the way to be.
Favorite Stage : Snowy Rail Yard
I like that darker stages, since it makes the lighting effects look even better.
Most hated stage: Dinner at Night.
The bright yellow floor is almost blinding. I can’t stand it.
As others have mentioned: Some classic ST stages, or character specific stages would been awesome as well.

Cruise Ship Stern, because I main Balrog and it always feels like a high profile event, especially against Dudley.
Also Solar Eclipse because the hippo eats a bird.
Historic Distillery. I want to own it.

I don’t really have a favorite stage, but I do have a least favorite.
The lights on the ground from ‘drive in at night’ really hurt my eyes for some reason. It makes it difficult for me to focus, so I always skip that stage.
Beautiful bay, just love it , clean warm colors easy to focus on
Volcanic Rim , just to troll peoples , i actually really like that stage i even put deejay bgm on it , its amazing , love the overall pressure feel
Secret laboratory , because i like violet
Run down back allay , pretty cool and clean , no distracting stuff
i hate Sky scrapper its an auto lose for me on that stage , i dont really know why , i just cant play on it
too much yellow on Exciting street scene
Over pass is over played in my head

I like Skyscraper Under Construction, but I really don’t like the Lab stages…

Overpass, because unlike the other stages it looks cool. It has little kids cheering and running around. I find most stages in 3d based polygon fighters rather…bland. SFIV is no exception.
The worst is Oceania, Volcanic Rim. It hurts my eyes.
I like to play in Cruise Ship Stern because it’s the only arena in the game. In most other stages I just think: “So, why were we fighting here, anyways?”.
Other stages do the trick to some point (temples and the like, streets also work for characters that would fight on sight, Shadaloo facilities for related characters…), but I’d like to see one or two more arenas.
I’ve also set the practice stage to display the barrel bonus stage and it looks great. I can’t believe they didn’t include that stage by default.

Those are literally the only stages I pick and alternate back and forth.
Anything that’s not training stage. My PC doesn’t suck that bad, I’m sorry if yours does, but I’m sick of looking at it. I think I’ll mod it into something else later today in fact.
