My favourite is Overpass, always choose it if I have the chance.
Offline I either pick random or the stage with the falling camel (or whatever it is XD)
Online mostly training stage, with some deserted temple and random.

If I lost a game on another stage, I’d counter pick that stage.
It never fails.
Oh, really? That kinda sucks, I thought it was really interesting that stages could be different lengths.
Overpass… because I like the “color-palette” used in this stage: the colors are “softer” and less saturated…
Oh… and I hate drive-in at night and the volcano… worst af all!

That perfectly sums up why it is my favourite stage as well. I also like airfield (you can actually see a bit of the solar eclipse stage in it), and festival at the old temple because of the break-the-big-pot meta game.
I hate with a passion: volcano (horrible colours, also makes the characters really red) drive in (too much going on) and exciting street scene (too much going on and revolting colours)
I like:
- the two with the boats
- airfield
- hippo stage
- training stage
I dislike:
- diner
- cruise ship stern
- crumbling laboratory
SFIV though, of most FG’s, has one of the weakest selection of stages IMO. Also, it doesn’t have the Japanese castle roof which is a shame.

Morning Mist Bay, and yes I always pick it. Nothing distracting, the play looks clearer to me, and it feels like I am back home in foggy San Francisco. Plus it’s like I’m living on the boat and whoever wants to challenge me needs to come see me on my boat.
I hate Drive In more than anything because it’s too much going on. I rely on watching my opponents movements to time my links and reactions so it really throws me off.
It’s mostly for music than looks to me, I enjoy Morning Mist Bay, Drive-In at Night & Old Temple the most.
Fuck training mode though, it’s like I haven’t spent enough time there already.
Random. I don’t really care for the stages in this game.
I like solar eclipse the best. It has the best music and it’s colorful

My favorite stage has to be the Snowy Rail Yard
Sometimes it’s character specific, for instance if my opponent is Seth I will pick Crumbling Laboratory. Otherwise I really like Festival at the Old Temple.
Almost all the stages from street fighter 3 are awesome from new generation to 2nd impact and 3rd strike.
They fill me with a sense of wonderment and happiness.
that guy is a parody of some dude in Japan who used to take a lot of pictures, but then committed suicide in the woods by lynching himself(?) ironically, his camera was still on his body.
more people need to pick training stage for online matches.

lower that lag people as much as you can.
now if you know you and your friend during a private match aren’t going to get lag, pick any stage…but if you’re unsure. training stage por favor.
