Now this is my kind of fanboy thread. There’s so many tracks I could list, but I’ll keep it short with some of my top favs.

I remember I liked MvC’s music so much, I’d leave the game on just to hear the music in training mode.

Jazzy NYC from 3s. So many times when I played friends in 3s, I’d always ask them if I could pick that stage. If they didn’t let me, I’d mash buttons quickly at the stage selection screen to get it, or make them play in arcade mode for it. Also, I remember for the longest time, I would only watch match videos with that stage. Fannnnnboying it up, yes.

I’m one of the few people that liked select tracks from MvC2. Swamp, clocktower, and river stage for life. :stuck_out_tongue:

Almost all of the tracks from Fighting Layer I love. I’m dying to get my hands on the OST of that game.

with 2d fighters I think the original SF2 (hate all the remixes) and Fatal Fury 2/special are the best by far.

KI had some really good music too and I really like some of the music in the SNES version of AOF particularly Mickey’s theme.

I thought the SF3 series had some of the worst music of any fighter. It really went downhill after SF2.

IMO, the Super DBZ soundtrack (along with the game itself) is overlooked/underrated.

Ibuki has always been blessed with such awesome stage music throughout the SFIII series:

Too right. SFEX1 has just about the best music of any fighting game. I’d put it between SF2 and SFA2 on the podium of SF games.

From SFIV, I’d have to pick Snowy Railyard, Volcanic Rim and Seth’s laboratory.

KOF 2000 had some lovely tracks…as did 95.

For BlazBlue, I love Rebellion, Lust SIN and Gale.

Vampire fuckin Savior a.k.a. Darkstalkers 3 had one of the BEST soundtracks of all time IMO…so much more.

That song originally came from SFEX1+a on playstation. Great song. You gotta listen to Kariu’s remix of it.

Anyways, I liked all rearrangments of Jazzy NYC (If I were a fighting game character, those would be my BGMs).

Paul’s Miracle Deathfist (Tekken 2 PSX version of Paul’s stage.)

TMNT Tournament fighters Soundtrack. That urban rock/house beat is a nice tribute to the 90s.

Eddy Gordo’s arranged BGM from Tekken 3

Heihachi’s BGM arranged (Tekken 3). That song is serious business.
