I don’t use PPP or KKK as to me it seems cheap. I feel like I would be cheating if I used those buttons for ultras.
Sucks (because it is so cheesy) but yes. Down diagonal>down diagonal + punch works too. Why they did this I do not know. But the little circle method is very fluid IMO.
There is also a shortcut for 360 movements too but I forget what it is.
Yes, you can :df::df:+:p: to do Shoryuken.
:df::d::df:+:p: also works.
360 shortcut is just 270.

The game is geared way too much towards the casual gamer lol.

I agree. Even though I don’t plan on going to any arcades anytime soon I don’t want to cheat myself and get used to 1 button’ing when you’re supposed to do 3. Yes…you can use the one button x3 but is it really faster or easier? I find it much simpler to just smack 2 punches instead of moving my whole hand an inch or two to the right.
