Hyper grav H being doable online is very subjective. The problem with that is not everyone has the same great connection as say you. Maybe your connection is good and you happened to pair up against another person that has good connection and now you’re able to do hyper gravs online. You gotta take it into account that not everyone has great connection. I unfortunately have shit connection and cant stand marvel online. I literally have to dumb down my combos online so that I dont run the risk of dropping anything.

Also have to take in account is lag spikes. Even if it says full bars in the beginning, that could change mid combo, mid match…ect. Theres times where I freakin dropped a flight combo lol yet the connection felt ‘smooth’.

Obviously. I was more or less talking about other peoples connections and how that can vary. As well as lag spikes.

im an on/off magneto player. played him in vanilla but just cant seem to find a spot for him now. i play wesker/haggar/vergil but i thinking of a switching vergil for mags just because of favoritism.

I know I am VERY far away from any of you but I love playing this game. I’ve got to the point where I can land Magneto’s combos consistently, I’m just not very good at opening people up. If it helps, I’m thinking about running Magneto (EMD), Spencer (Slant Grapple) and Sentinel (Drones). One way that I open up people a lot that works most of the time is: Drones, wavedash with the Drones, then I do L/L-M/L-M-H-Fly-S. There is literally no FGC where I’m from, so the only people that I get to play don’t even own the game themselves. Playing online is also a no-go as there is not a lot of people that play online in the NZ/Aussie area but there has to be people that play these games around here other than me. Any help with either Magneto or potentially starting a FGC would be very much appreciated.

i can do all his combos fine, my movement is decent, i have infinites for all directions (although im not consistent with up and sides)i just struggle in pressure/opening people up. i cant seem to get it and get in a good position to do his tridash mixups. i play wesker/magneto/vergil

Ive been playing UMVC3 for a few months now and ive just recently decided to commit myself to getting competetive.
My current team is Magneto/Strider/Virgil
