I guess I am OG
two words: âRainbow Editionâ
I am officially OG :arazz:
If you remember when the only type of Porno that existed was in magazinesâŚyou might be OG.
I just came here to troll, but I could answer all but like maybe 1 or 2 questions, lol.
OG and didnât know it.
I was barely 3 when SF2 came out,
But i remember playing my older brother and he told me he was going to use his psycho power to play me, but i was really playing the computer
I was 12 when world warriors came out and I was living in switzerlandâŚ
Under 18 years old kids were not allowed in the arcades at that time (I guess you guys can drive a car when you are 16⌠so you prolly wonât even believe me⌠^^ but in the other hand, we were allowed to get drunk in bars and smoke cigs at 16yo!) so I had to wait for the Super Famicom release. Hopefully, my friend had a Japanese SFC, so we got the J-version of the before everyone and I could play it pretty soon after the European Arcade releaseâŚ
I started playing Super Street Fighter 2 in the arcade as I got 15, and by that time, the arcades were open for teenager over 16. (I was pretty tall, so it did the trick and the security duds did not ask for ID all the timeâŚ)
Throws were banned, and the guy who could actually perform a non-lucky shoryuken was considered the best player in the world! ^^
(we were not even thinking about doing 360 and Zangief was supposed to be UBER low tier!)
I remember reading the special Super Street Fighter Gamepro Issue, and I was freaking out like âthose combos are just impossible!â.
Itâs funny to remember those days, and to see what we are able to pull out now with an arcade stick⌠(I still suck at dp-motion thoughâŚ)
the lawsuit where Capcom sued Data East for fighters History on account of them âBitinâ their shitâ
Karnov wins!
OG?? Me? Heck nawâŚ
GAMEPRO WAS THE MAGAZINE THOUGH!!!
I remember when I first got into Marvel, my mom would try to pull me away from the MvC2 machine so we could go home, but I kept on playing.
I got deja vu when I saw this little kid playing Tekken 5 DR. His mom was telling him to hurry up so they could go home. His sister was watching him play Tekken as well. Boy was she fucking HOT! GOT DAMN she probably thought I was a loser cause I was playing MvC2. (The MvC2 machine is right next to the Tekken machine so the boyâs hot sister was watching us play Marvel)
âHey baby want to learn MvC2?â (horrible pickup line)
/end rant
I remember that FTP, as a young scrub I used to go there and get all the FG faqs back in the day. RIP
I was tired of going to the bodega as a kid in the sf1/sf2 days and asking ppl how to do a fb or something, their response was usually âi dont know kidâ or somewhere along those kines. Yeah it was that real in those days as we all remember.
if you talk about how you played anything after HF when you were a âkidâ⌠you might NOT be OG =)
When you and your friends use to kick the coin slot because it was a secret way to get creditsâŚyou might be og!
When you use to go to the pool hall in an upper floor building which had the only Hyper Fighting and Rainbow Edition machines in your neigborhood and knew they sold drugs and did other illegal activity but you went and played anyway because you needed to get your fix of sfâŚyou might be og!
Fuck whoever made up mexican uppercut. =[

Guilty. Man im pretty og. I was about 11-12 when sf first came out. But before people got good i was using dhalsim and kicking people all day being called cheap for it lol. But Oh man did i abuse that penny/quarter trick, i once pulled 5 bux outa an sf2 machine ahh good ol days :chat:
Was that the one where you could do the moves in the air? Itâs been to long, but that was one of the best ones.
We still call it chuck chuck nougats.
