york cove is closing on friday… now all there is at york is food, drinking and studying… I’m going to organize a york casual weekely b/c a smashbro club at york has been taking over southross 202 every wensday from 6-9pm i dont see why GG/3rdstrike/MVC2 can’t do the same thing. Tatenda lives at york and has a ps2, ggac cd and one stick, im going to talk to him today about when he would be open to it each week and even if he can’t show up to let me borrow his stuff once a day every week to host this. Tommy is livid about the cove closing and has talked about having casuals so im pretty sure he would host casuals either at his house (fountain head) or at york and we could do this just about every week also (GGAC, 3rd and MVC2). Shit maybe even CVS2 also as tatenda is really into that game. Janitors at york know this is going on and don’t care as long as people don’t make a mess before they leave.
Though the cove is closing we can still make something great happen at york!
Wait is it closing down for the rest of the semester? Or is it shutting down permanently? I’m too lazy to drop by and confirm. If it’s the latter, let us rejoice cove haters! :rock:

I’ll pay my last respects at York cove on thursday so i’ll drop by then, Toronto Arcades are dying !

the only real arcade (not including movie threaters and such) that is still technically in toronto is funland. 
anyways, york cove is selling comptuers for 100 dollars, are they any good? like at least 2 ghz?

Well GG cove. That’s what you get for not letting outside food/drinks in there and kicking me out for eating a donut in there. I always get the last laugh. 
R.I.P my 2 beloved #R cabinets. I enjoyed both of you equally (no homo) even if the screen of one was darker than the other.
I snuck a sandwich and fries in there Monday, ate and left the garbage. It was still in the exact same spot today.

So what’s the plan now? Anyone read that retarded description put out in the excalibur? I read it online how it was saying about how it wasn’t lively and this and that. Yet the stupid glasses place right next door opened, and i haven’t seen 1 person buy 1 pair of their 300 dollar glasses, always empty.
