Interview/Gameplay

There’s a few other mecha related titles (Reign of Thunder, a new MechWarrior RTS title, Transformers: FoC to name a few), but these are the ones I’m really looking hard at. Looks like I’ma have to get a powerful new Deskstop by Christmas, aswell.

Looks pretty cool, still waiting for a Chromehounds 2 though, that game seriously needed more love.

I’m actually pretty hyped for Reign of Thunder as well. People trying to shit on it in youtube comments because the mechs are too mobile. Not every Mech game needs to be a damn slow moving sim. We’re getting 3 great looking games with heavy mechs (Hawken actually has a really nice speed balance), no reason why the genre can’t be balanced out with faster paced games.

Anyway, there truly are too many great looking games coming out.

I’m diggin’ this. May need to get into MW 3 since a proper TIE Fighter sequel was never made.

I remember playing MW2 and EarthSiege on PC back in the day. Probably will buy Armored Core and Hawken.

Yes, Hawken is very quickpaced. I love it. It’s exactly how I would make a mecha sim. I play the slower paced ones, but Lord knows I like it fast! (lol)

What I wouldn’t do for a new TIE Fighter game, right now.

Btw, bringing some attention to another newly announced game. Please refer to the end of this video as to why I’m bringing it to this thread.

I put my reserve in for ACV. It will be out soon, and I have to have my hands on it. Been waiting on this for a least a year, now.

You can play it directly from your Google Chrome browser!

Yeah, waiting for Squaregaynix to get in on the tail end of the craze and bring back the Front Mission series.

… I’m kidding myself if I don’t think that would still be cool…

Front Mission Evolved only came out like a few years ago. So I wouldn’t write off the series just yet.

If you are interested in playing the game, then check this thread: AirMech - Open PC and Chrome Alpha

It has information on how to instantly play the PC or Chrome versions. Both Free.

i’m still waiting for a Virtual On remake.

I second that Virtual On remake sentiment.
