noel brown came in and was like “anyone wanna money match my friend chris?” i knew it was gamerbee so i didn’t do it. he hung out in our hotel room for a while to watch me and spore play. my friend asked if he wanted to play some casuals but he was like no i only do MMs. so we were like fuck it, we both put down 5 bucks. my friend got wrecked, i actually came close to beating him first game, took the second one, 3rd game was close, last game i got bodied. he did this crazy ass combo that took like 45% and lead to a reset that stunned me. i was like yoooo what just happened?
the lucky D set, i was expecting a blow up but i actually came close to winning a few of them but shit happened.

figures, most “pros” wont play casuals or sets without a mm, should’ve known. no good adons in the US except ramen addict, but haven’t played him since super and honstly, i had no chance then.
is ramen in DMG or something cause I think i played him on ranked match on pc then he got mad at me and said i was a scrub then beat him in a set
my adon sparring partner is ranked #2 worldwide in super and #6 worldwide in AE with adon on psn. only reason i was able to do so well vs gamerbee is because i knew the match up really well, he won simply because at the end of the day, it’s still dudley vs adon and he’s the better player.

well he’s only 6th because he doesn’t play as much and doesn’t wanna main adon anymore (tired of people complaining). trust me he’s good. strikenelnoyle. first time at big 2 and got 5th place.
anyways, vs adon, SSB to force jaguar kicks to whiff and punish it’s recovery. you can also ex duck to force a whiff then punish with s.rh xx. vs adon’s s.rh, ex duck through it and punish. if you suspect wake up jaguar kick, stay at the edge of c.lk range and m.ssb to force a whiff. ex duck upper vs ex/m/h. jaguar tooth. also stay at max range of s.rh and you can focus through it safely and punish. anti air ex duck upper shuts down neutral jumping and air jaguar kick, max range duck straight in footsies helps a lot.
what really makes dud vs adon bad is when dud has to block. adon’s pressure is too good.
rumor mill is saying AE 2012 is the final and no more SF4 patches after that. looks like this dudley is what we’re stuck with. think it’s a good time to start learning some other characters. dudley/dhalsim/zangief should be a pretty nice trio of characters.
