I have it, and I’ve been messing with Duds for two days now. Here’s what I got.
-Kidney blow has pushback, does 70, and makes everything sad panda. I am very unhappy with this move right now.
- HP MGB, duck straight, duck upper all 100 damage. I am not sure why duck upper doesn’t do more, but meh.
-MP jet upper is good, really good, and should be the primary combo ender. It appears to be invincible partially, as said above, and does 140 on one hit. Today I did a j.hp, mk-hk TC, hk xx exmgb, hk xx hk short swing blow, cr.mp, mp.jet upper for about 503 in the corner.
-THROW YOUR LINKS AWAY AT THE DOOR! This Dudley is not the smooth bastard we are used to using. He feel slow all across the board, but that’s the speed of the game talking. Trust me, you’re gonna notice it the first time you bust out a TC…
-My new confirm off a low: cr,lk-mk TC, hk. Works like a charm.
-Links after Kidney Blow and Dart Shot significantly easier AFTER you slow you’re hands down and adjust to the new timing.
- almost all TC that end in mk can link in st.hk, I’m not kidding, it’s cool.
-Hk to hp is possible (basically means dart shot, hk, cr.mp works)
-His medium punches have the longest juggle potential. Well after everything else wears out, stick in a mp and you can get that last jet upper in 
-As I predicted before, lp.jet upper has many follow ups, including midscreen cr.hk (yes, right off f.mk, st.hk) I was messing with this earlier and you can connect mp xx duck straight/upper after lp.jet upper. Very interesting
-EX SSB can be juggled into midscreen now, easily and practically. I need to mess with this more, but I think some of the best damage is going to come off of this.
-You can j.hk after ex.mgb. Causes ground bounce, I follow up with hk xx mp jet upper.
-MGB juggles are…odd. I feel like I’m missing something, but you can juggle in the corner easily with all types. I did an ex mgb, st.hk xx ex mgb today…can’t remember if I followed it up.
-Punish combo after cr.hp no longer possible…shame, but we might not need it.
-Rolling Thunder blows overall. This was a serious missed opportunity in the face of other fantastic supers (Hellfire Rush). I’ve only been able to juggle into full animation like once or twice, there is a specific punch in the chain towards the end that triggers it (second to the last I think) Even if you get the juggle…it’s not worth the pain. Will look great in my new vids though
The key to full juggle rolling thunder is lp.jet upper in the corner, it almost always works off one that’s just off the ground. So, when in rome (corner) punish combo xx lp jet upper super for easy damage. (not the best though imo)
-His cross art does start with a corkscrew blow. However, I could not get it to grind like SFIV or 3s…yet. I tried using it at the end of my juggle limit and nothing happened. It also has a very small connection box, it seems like they need to be at least eye level. I tried to have someone fall into it SFIV style, did not work.
-Some of the best news, his wiffed meter building is INSANE. This is not an understatement. Roundhouse like crazy, all day.
- Voice upgrade imo. Still sounds a little light, but many of his lines got more punch. I just like it better than SFIV…
-Duck recovery like SFIV, not like Steves. Makes throw mixups viable.
-Swag links of the day: mk-hk tc,mk-hk tc, hp (315, more than his super XD) Lk-mk tc, cr.lk-mk tc, f.lp-mp tc xx whatever
Also, I finished all the trials already. It’s a good place to start the adjustments. I think one required some improv even, I could not find a possible way to do it without an improv ex mgb, and I take my hat off to Capcom if this is true. It’s what this characters about, making everything work when inside. So, I thought it was cool lol
Overall, however, I almost feel like he’s missing some damage, especially in Steve’s face. The juggle scaling is more noticeable with Dudley than any other character I’ve used…probably because of the combos I’ve made in the last game XD
And, erm, if King can have 4 knees midscreen, why the balls can’t we have that many scoops? They do 90 a pop, but I could only do two. If 3 is possible…I need to try harder I guess…

Had to wait towards the end of a Sf X TK tournament last night, try out Dudley.
Couldn’t do much or try out anything since the place was closing up, and I was consantly getting bodied by my friend’s Juri & Cody…“who is even cheaper than ever” team.
From my limited playtime, Dudley’s been beefed up a bit…CANNOT BELIEVE all MGBs were safe on block, lol!! but I have feeling that characters like Juri will be crapping all over on Dudley like is SSFIV.
Dudley doesn’t seem as…idk, crazy as some of the other characters. His juggles really didn’t give me that OHWTFBBQ feeling like some…however, I do see some interesting buffs all over, judge is out on this one till they’re out. I just wish his link timing was more like SFIV, the adjustment has been rough…

Got some serious match time in last night with some good Seattle players. I can tell you a few more things. I’m fairly certain EX MGB is at a plus on block, I am not even kidding. Fierce punch is not as good as before by any means, but it has it’s uses in frame traps and counter poking, and step straight should be totally avoided, it’s recovery is ungodly. Kidney blow doesn’t seem very good overall, it’s pushback really screws with combos. I already have optimized BnB’s that do fantastic damage, and let me just say, Duds high/low mixup in this game is INSANELY powerful, even with the roll. The fact that any of the target combos ending in mk links to hk really changes a ton. Duck uppers seem worthless. Duck straights are safe as hell. St.hk is amazing, given you can frame trap point blank with it and continue the blockstring with cr.mp, very scary. EX jet upper is the alpha counter, good damage. Didn’t use short swing blows enough, and haven’t experimented with their properties, but I think you can link after counter hit. I was able to link after a counter hit ducking straight. It equals pain.
Oh, and mp/cr.mp are amazing overall, period.

i’m thinking of switching back to pad, it’s been almost a year and i still can’t hit confirm using a stick. the only good thing that came out of it is that i can do 1f links consistently, but other than that my execution was better on pad. if only xbox allowed other non-microsoft peripherals to work on their system.

I know for a fact that XCM CrossFire adapter works for using a PS3 pad on Xbox360. You just need a wired 360 controller so the converter can essentially “borrow” it’s signal. There is also the Converter Compatibility Thread that you can use to find other (and cheaper) converters.
EDIT: The XCM converter is also 100% lag-free

yeah i did my homework before getting a stick and i didn’t find any converter for PC pad (logitech precision) to 360. I don’t like the new squishy shoulder buttons and the analogue sticks get in the way, not to mention the d-pad on ps3 hurts like hell in long term use. thanks for the help though.

I don’t think there are people who can’t c.lk meaty a ex drill, or ex crusher, maybe ex headbutt, maybe.
Ssb on the other hand people still think viper and feilong counterpicks Dudley.
A little update. Counter hit duck straight combos equal lots of damage, and you can get in a mp after ch lk ssb. I think people will only be using the light ssb on the ground, and the other ones in combos. (EX has it’s uses, don’t think it’s invincible though minus throws)
