Hmm? This looks quite interesting.
This game looks like it’s had a good amount of work put into it, and I must say the sprite detail’s not bad.
However, I’m kind of saddened by the lack of originality for some of these characters. I suppose that can be a problem with a lot of fighters, but…this game’s kind of pushing it.
So, you’ve got a grappler. He’s got a fairly unique look, so surely he’ll have some new and brutal “big guy” moves right? Well, instead you make him the lovechild of Zangief and Raiden. He’s got Raiden’s dropkick, and he’s got Gief’s running bear grab AND the SPD, as well as a lot of very familiar normals. I hardly noticed anything about that guy which struck me as original, outside of his look. The boxer of the game is also the lovechild of Dudley and Shen Woo. At least he doesn’t do backsteps during his charge punches, but his animations are very familiar, and that super he has is nearly a copy and paste of Shen Woo’s super.
Those two are really the only characters I take issue with, since I know they could have been handled in a much better way. Every other character seems…fairly unique, in their own right…although, I didn’t notice a whole lot of difference between the two sword-wielding girls and the two shotos of the game. Hmmm.
Well, maybe I’ll give this game a shot.
Is the announcer in this video a real life person or an in game announcer like SF4? He said identical things and even calls out hadokens and shoryukens for the shotos and was always saying round “put number here” fight!
Kokujin and KSK will be voicing commentary. What you hear are prerecorded clips most likely to make fun of Japanese match video commentary.

I’ve bought it, but sadly, it’ll probably take at least a week until it arrives.
I wasn’t too sure whenever i wanted this or not,
but i figured that the engine seems interesting enough to be something i can mess around with even if the game gets no recognition.
And I’ve always Supported SNK,
so i may as well support its ex-members as well in whatever they are doing too.
Plus the thought of a more SF-ish styled doujin fighter in this day and age perked my interest.
Oh, and a patch for this version is already out.
