Thanks for the upload, Shiro. Solid matches. It was pretty cool to see Bison win it! I think that may say something about our traditional notions of tierage in this game. Then again, there was definitely a lot of Mags/Storm/Chun skill being showcased.
I renamed all the files to get them to play, so I wasn’t really able to keep track of who was playing all the time, but there was one Magneto combo, I think done by Dark Ren, that I hadn’t seen before. Looked kinda like the usual launch > HK > ad down twd., etc, but it involved an otg at the end (I think c.HK). Anyway, it was done a bunch of times in one of the matches. Anyone know what I’m talking about?

c.hk, sj. then air dash down and c.lk, then wave dash toward them and c.lp, s.hk into the rom. if thats not how its doen then Idk. I think Astral and Marv0 were the only mag players there but i might be wrong.
Btw thanks for commenting on the tournament. Guess we can safly say we are the secound biggest city for XvS next to La. THey have more players then we do. I am also going to EVO so the 5 on 5 that they were talking about in the team beast thread Team beast vs Shiro,Toxy,Umrthrfkr, and who ever else was going can just add me into that mix cause I am for sure going. just master the basic moves and combos of the game and sooner or later u can replicate them by just lookin at the video over and over…
if you’re good at xmen, you should be able to identify the moves that shiro and toxy did during those combos…it’s just the timing required to perform these combos that awes us… but honestly a transcript is just askin for too much hahah…
