heh cool, well done guys… how did mike Z chose apocolypse in the arcade version?
btw expect to see the combovid up in the next 24 hours, its being exported now, then will be sent to combovideos. had to cut a few combos because the vid went for over 20 minutes so we cut it down to 20, but dont worry you guys will probably end up seeing the cut vids anyway in a leftovers vid or posted separately or something :lol:
:edit shit just watched the vid now, even a couple a 200% combos couldnt fit, no more room, oh well expect another combo vid shortly after this one is released, still got heaps of material left

Oh i thought you were serious lol, because i know there is a way to pick apoc in arcade version, i think NKI said he seen it on a XvSF combo/glitch VHS tape.

hey its me that shiro guy still on my way to toronto . im going by greyhound because its nice to see some sights and bla bla bla. any how on the way threw manatoba we stopped in wenipeg for i think like 45 min asnd i went straight to the arcade like i haven been in every stop. crossing my fingers hoping fgor xvs i found one there but it was virsion 3 ( oh how crule) any how i played it none the less and then along came a gammer. reallyt have no idea who he was but he played pritty good. it was some fun games i t hink i won more but i was more or less mad at the cab being v3 then any thing. (just torture) any how im in thunder bay now only 12 more hours (or less or more >.<) until i get to toronto then i can see what the east cost canadion players are all about offline. (Joker SiD T-kimura Mash ect ect ect) when last i talked ot joker he said hesd be doing up a tourney there so i think im going to get that shit recorded i even brought my own sticks incase its a home tourney and people need sticks. wish me luck. and OMG i herd that toronto has a club that holds up to 5000 people. @_@ can some one say freeew pussy. not to mention easy peasy pussy and um … PUSSY spring break comming up real fast so im reallyt happyt i came down there . any how im rambling and running out of money on this machean

actually a friend and i did find a way to pick apoc. but not sure how we did it. or how its done. all i remember was that i was mags/chun going against apoc. but i forget which char. i was but i klled apoc and just as i did he hit the start button i believe. it might have been right before or just as or right after i killed him. i believe i was chun. but anyways he hit start and insted of me playing my self i had to play against him as apoc. it was on amer. v.2. dont know if this helps anyone else pick him. just rememberin old xvsf memories.

yeah sounds like something NKI said about pressing start befor or after u kill him or something, but must be after since u rememberd that.
hey guys I’m a XvSf scrub and would like some advice on how to get better…i use magneto/chun and my magneto is average i guess, I can rom occasionally, hkxxhypergrav, and d.lk corner combos. But that’s pretty much it, any other intermediate/advanced combos i should learn? Oh and my chun’s rubbish, so far I can only do the average magic series double jump combo and anything into c.lk c.mk xx super. Yeah any infinites for chun would be welcome… oh and i sorta skimmed the past pages, but didn’t really find anything, or maybe i didn’t look hard enough (:

Holy crap! that is one weird glitch.
I tried the apocalypse thing just now: The perfect timing took a little while to figure out, but I finally got it so that I pressed start right when I killed him. It went through the whole dying sequence before it said here comes a new challenger. Now here’s the really weird part: It wasn’t just my team vs. apocalypse. I WAS apocalypse, vs. another apocalypse! And we both only had a head and an arm, no torsos. Also, there seems to be a hidden move that CPU apoc never uses. It was qcf+lk I think, and it looked like he sort of whipped out his back arm and this glowing orange circle appeared for about a second or so, then he brings his arm back behind him. weird.
Anyway, I have the state saved, so I can record a Kawaks replay if anyone wants to see it.
PS: After using your apocalypse to beat the other guy, you revert back to the character you beat apoc with, and fight your partner. However, rather than the flashing NO CHALLENGERS in the opponent’s side upper corner, it flashes GAME OVER throughout the match.
Furthermore, if the challenging apocalypse wins, he goes on the fight a CPU apoc in the same fashion (both fighters apocalypse, no torsos), and upon beating this apoc, we see ryu’s ending?
In the case of a draw game, we get a game over, and upon continuing, are brought to the final fight of partner vs. partner.

that version is similar to the broken saturn version. [its where you can RELAUNCH again and again after a air combo ending FP,RH.] for a clear example look at the cyclops combo and try to do the same thing at the arcade. you won’t be able to relaunch unless u reset the combo (maybe a throw but most good players tech easy).

oh and for the vid, easily the best xmvsf vid ever made. u cant compare any video to these calibur of combos. i think editing could have been better, but was fine for this type of video.
