How do you fight dhalsim with chun li? I can’t air dash because of his limbs… I don’t know what to do!!!1

I think you do s.mp and you gotta time a mp gene splice to hit properly and it knocks them down. Then you can just repeat it… I think. I know you can launch into mp gene splice and relaunch. I’m not sure if its an inf tho.
It’s an infinite. It gets tighter and tighter every rep though. You also have to watch for characters like chun li, who cross up after the gene splice.
But basically s.MP xx gene splice
the gene splice needs to be late. it’s not a juggle late, but a late cancel. After the gene splice, you want to time a s.MP as late as possible. If you do this right you can technically do an infinite with it, but it’s mad hard, and after a rep you should be close enough to the corner to do s.MP into basic infinite, so there no real reason to learn it.
the best way to keep dhalsim down is to rush him down before he rushes you down. The easiest way to win this match is MP grab in the corner into a plethora of infinite setups. If you can’t keep sim on the ground, then stay in the air. drills are significantly weaker if you’re in the air, and if you can approach sim from above, sim doesn’t have much game left.
Cyc’s Gene Splice inf in the corner is really easy. Midscreen with s.mp can be a bit tight, but after you set it up, c.mk xx Strong Splice works perfectly in the corner.
You don’t want to mash the splice, though. No extra hits. With the first rep, you need to delay it a lot. With the others, not so much.

I think its a useless infinite to begin with. You can just launch and super them and double jump after it instead. even without the double jump I’d take the free dmg from the super and keep running to the corner to inf them there.
