in marvel random LS gets you punished by assist combos, xvs a part of your run away can be used as bait for them to chase you right into a LS : )
I never see any good storm players doing random lightning attacks. . . If they did I’d pick magneto and hypergrav them every time. Not a good tactic at all. Also if i played vs a run away storm I probabyl wouldnt play that person ever again. You have to be a true real life piece of shit to run away witih storm.

well not that anyone should be doing LS in range of a FK on mags
runaway back fierce storm -> chuck balls at normal jumping opponents -> cancel to LA for guard break attempts.
It’s safe when you miss, cause you just LA away again
Nothing to win games by, but it’s there.
Even tho I do random LS sometimes I still think its a really stupid thing to do. The ONLY time I do them is if I really think someone like chun will be dashin in at me in the air or if I really need to do a ton of dmg within a few seconds.
Seriously tho, storm is so fast. There really isn’t much reason to random LS especially when you jump and dash over trying to LS right on top of them to make them guess which way to block. Thats just… not a good tactic to be using at all. Like I said you should probably use it while the person is dashing at you or if you know they’re gonna launch and you float above it to smoke them for half life. I wouldn’t ever rely on that kinda stuff tho.
Storms floating tri jumps and regular super insanely fast tri jumps are too good to pass up for random LS. Just rush that shit down =)
PS: Runaway storm in XvSF is disgraceful.
You know, after three years, why would you expect the basic tactics of XvSF to change from this?
Really, in tournament, the game always degrades to getting that one hit into infinite.

how do you do storm’s corner infinite?
easiest way to learn would probably be to throw them with hp in the corner to start instead of launching them and learning how to juggle them down the wall…
So throw and then as they’re falling, normal jump up forward and hit lk, mk, hp, hk.
Make sure you do the hk as you’re falling down to keep them at the right height for the next rep. When you throw, the first rep is gonna be kinda weird because it will push storm back as you do it. Just make sure you jump forward for that first rep.
After that, just normal jump straight up (don’t float) and press lk, mk, hp, hk… repeat.
A nice easy reset to do instead of jumping up to inf again is to just do lp, lp – throw. Then you can relaunch or do a lightning storm for free huge dmg.
Also, if you can manage to launch them in the corner… sj then do lk hp… hp… hp…hp … hp… hp etc… till you’re close to the ground. Make sure you hit them with a hp right before u land to pop them up then jump up and inf. You can mix up attacks as you juggle them down the wall but stick to HP when learning.
Oh did you find out how to get those cheats? I’m a fucking retard and I hardly go on MSN or check SRK anymore when I’m not at work. I keep forgetting to send them to you :(. I’ll write a note on my hand to send it to you today if you don’t have it yet.
Do you know how to do the normal jump inf on sentinel in MvC2 while hes standing? Its the exact same thing
