yeah, i didn’t like mvc1 roster when i first started fucking with it either but i got adjusted eventually. i found war machine is just as fun as mag/storm in his own little way. commando is also pretty tight too, he’s incredible compared to his mvc2 incarnation.

Psshh… if capcom was any better in MvC2 I don’t think I’d play the game. Fighting Storm Sent and Capcom is hard enough already with capcom as a shitty character. That assist is too good tho O_O

capcom is a big threat when it’s down to the end-game.

all that shit he throws out, his throw, and random kick/qcb+p XX captain sword is scary and does a lot of damage.

jumping hp is too good and ninja on a block is useful

The funny thing about that tournament is your using 3P 3K. So how can you really measure your skill with a crutch to Astral’s whos on an arcade stick. And if in fact he wasn’t on stick during the tournament then he’d have been using controller which he doesn’t really play with any more.

Also I completely forgot about the xvsf tourney, so thats be why I went to the dump so fast.

Please don’t judge kaillera players on behalf of that tournament. A lot of these new players arent very good. A lot of them are new to the game, or just infiniting scrubs. Did Poeta, Shiro, Liquid metal, Joker, or any other good Canadian enter? Or even Shadow1500, Loc, Brandon, Jeff, jase enter from the US?

Im not even flaming here Im just saying a lot of the people who entered probably were not that good so strutting your stuff in this thread and flame baiting is pretty useless if you beat down a bunch of scrubs with some 3p 3k buttons.

When T8 rolls around you should come on up since its in Toronto and you actually live in that city. Theres going to be mvc1 here as well and a macro and non macro xvsf tourney. Might as well give it a try

Hey hey hey… I use to use macros all the time. Keep in mind they were never on a pad cuz I played on keyboard. Now I can say with 100% honesty that I think XvSF is easier to play on a stick than a keyboard. All you guys use to bash on macro users and I know I personally got neg repped to hell because I was saying I played on a kb with macros.

It was a lot harder for me to learn the more advanced combos on a keyboard than it was when I switched over to a stick. Thats really all I can say about that… Then again maybe that was because I’ve already been playing MvC2 on a stick for so many years and it didn’t take long to get use to the 3 punch dash

Also, even tho I really pushed for the macro side tourny, I’ll probably end up playing on a stick simply because everything is so much more consistent and easier to do. Too many situations where attacks wouldn’t come out on a keyboard and moving around in general just sucks.

I’m still interested in how that macro tourny turns out tho ;). Should be fun to play against those crazy mofos on a pad.

FYI, i didn’t use macros at all. i used charlie/storm pretty much all through the tourney and didn’t touch mag once, why would you need any macros with them? i played pretty simple, didn’t get complex at all or fancy… one match i even caught astral with a simple lightning attack d/f into jump inf and killed.

tactics > macros magneto scrubs.

oh and brandon was in the tourney and got peaced out fast by Ruhit(another mvc1 player who hadn’t touched this game literally until the tourney started)… Jeff was aslo in it, he was in the finals with me and i peaced him out 5 - 2.

my point is xvsf competition aint what it used to be on kaillera. mvc people shouldn’t be playing the game better than the people who play it consistently.

Ok basically I don’t think Bison has alot to offer in this game at high level play. besides a repetitive fly unfly rush he’s not realy fucking with Ken or for that matter any one. He can’t poke jugs or he’ll be HEAD CRUSHED.

Any how the reason I am saying ken is far far better then him is well. he has one infinite that?s hard to land in this game and doesn?t work on every one. while ken’s does. ken has invincible DP’s air fir ball’s better supers. Idk he’s just much better.

I can’t really remember who you listed he was above. but think of his options in this game. how is he beating cammy. if he goes into fly mode CANNON DRILL, or spiral arrow or w/e the crazy blond bitch says. she has that full screen infinite on his ass and an easier 200% infinite. She’s more mobile. The list just goes on and on.

Bison isn’t really that mobile. He’s slow and he doesn’t have a lot on many characters in this game he?s like the Dan of Xmen
