well, thats not a biggie for me… i can use her its not a problem… im wondering how s the connection within china… i play sfxt and kof13 on psn without any problem,so i guess this one should be the same
Oh give me a break. I’m just one guy, and in the grand scheme, it doesn’t matter how I play anything. Consoles=community. As a guy who prefers and always played in arcades, and hates seeing that format slowly die off, I know consoles has the most potential for exposure in all countries/markets.
Not in China, they use PC there for playing and we are talking maybe of the greatest potential market now. And actually the fact that some of the most trend FG are in PC have saved some arcades in third world countries.
Consoles !=community. Gamers = Community.
Care to quantify that claim? I can’t think of a FG on PC more popular than the most popular FGs on console.
Look, I don’t care for getting into a drawn-out pissing argument, I like what I’ve seen from this game, and hope it’s popular and successful, however they get it.
Whats the specs for this game anyway? I actually have a code for the game (thank you for having chinese friends!) but i haven’t tried it yet since my pc is fucked anyway at the moment because of overheating under load issues, but would be nice to know if i can play it at all.
Or you can support the game by playing it on PC instead of letting it get “PC syndrome”, even though I have no idea what that even is. People keep saying this, and just flat out it’s probably never going to get a console release. By not playing it until it comes to consoles you doom it to the fate you don’t want for the game. It’s a game most people have never heard of using a payment system that hasn’t made huge strides on a console market and it’s a fighting game. Nothing about the game says it would do well on a console, or well enough to warrant the cost to put it on console.
Well this might be true for something like Skullgirls but we’re talking about a game from China that isn’t even really meant to be played by people in the US. At best we’re just latching onto XD, they’re never going to express interest in us as an audience (again, meaning I’ll never get my English client).
Actually consoles ARE banned in China. It’s just that no one enforces the rule heavily enough to punish the stores that import them and then charge you extra for it.
When Nintendo released the a China-specific version of the DS it was big news because console gaming is actually technically not allowed in China.
While all of that is true, developers aren’t the ones who decide if a game has players or not, or where they come from. If it was up to Capcom I doubt Marvel 2 would have lasted 10 years like it did. If we want the game to be alive we need to play it. Even if it never comes to the US, if they won’t come to us we will go to them like we are now, and we will play and support a game we feel warrants our support. I would much rather be playing XD than SF4, so I’m going to do everything in my ability to see to it that XD will have players, even if it’s just this small group of people on SRK. If all we did was petition that the game get a console release, it would surely die.
Well, I figure I might as well give people a heads up now. I’m in the process of getting some beta keys from that website JohnGrimm provided. And as of right now, Im kinda going thru hell to get them. A beta key cost 0.16 cents yes, but what they don’t tell you is that they charge you an addition fee of $5.66 due to it being “virtual goods”. So in total, you’ll end up paying $5.82 just for ONE beta key! Its ridiculous.
I ended up spending about $6.78 for 7 beta keys. So for those that don’t want to spend that much for (1) and go thru what I’m going thru right now in the process, I suggest you hold out on buying a key from that website and get a key from me instead. Shoot me a PM if interested.
you need to login to a QQ account to activate it from the official website i believe so yeah. There should be a tutorial a couple pages back in this thread on how to obtain one. Its real easy.
