Does this shit even work, or are the keys just so limited? Also can I register online somewhere if I somehow do manage to get a key? I don’t have the game and I doubt it will work on my comp.
Btw love the attention to detail, eg: the fountain stage if you do a CD attack the vase’s at the back rumble and the small street lights above flicker.
EDIT: Just got off in case anyone wants to try with the same account.
I wouldn’t count on that any time soon. The dev team is basically on par with LoL when it comes to adjustments. Unless the game for some reason magically becomes absolutely perfect in every conceivable way, I don’t see the patches and rebalances ever stopping.

So far from what I can tell the changes haven’t been that frequent, and bear in mind this is still in the beta stages. So far, all of the latest changes from the Cloud patch have been positive. Even with MK9’s multiple patches, they’ve eventually settled down and basically took out a lot of the initial bullshit, but seeing as Tencent has full reign over the game they wont be as financially crushed for each change. They also seem to have Dakou and Xiaohai giving feedback, so I wouldn’t expect as many knee-jerk responses. From my perspective, just about every character feels overpowered which is good!
I think there’ll be less whining from players since most modes are primarily single player and mechanically it doesn’t rely on as strict role-fulfillment as LoL where you’re forced to fit in 5 different character roles or lose. Xuandou Zhiwang will be the premiere FTG to absorb the newer online PC game model, and I really wanna see how far it can go.
Not that I’m disagreeing with you, but I just don’t personally feel like the changes are particularly difficult for Jade Studios to make, and while there definitely hasn’t been any knee jerk or unwarranted nerfs or changes, I think by just the very nature of fighting games something can always be tweaked. And when you tweak something, something else might need tweaking. Fighting game balance is never perfect and even if you think you know what you want out of your roster there’s almost always adjustments that could be made.
As far as the PC model the game is using, I would really like to see two things happen. The first being a means to permanently unlock characters, hopefully one that doesn’t use real money, and an offline mode that has all of the characters playable. I think the firection this game needs to go to differentiate it from the LoL model is that fighting games are all about game knowledge and character matchups, and while I understand they need some kind of a model to allow them to make money and keep the game going in some fashion fighting game players would still greatly appreciate being able to play as all the characters in training mode or something. Also, to be able to even have the possibility of a tournament for this game you’re going to need all the characters unlocked, which some people might not be able to do, so the unlocks being for online play would I think really help the game grow.
