Xuandou Zhiwang, Chinese Free to Play fighting game (Currently in closed beta)

I FIND IT INCREDIBLY INFURIATING THAT kof13 isn’t out for pc but its out for smart phones. :-L

Anyone in the US wanna play? I’m waiting on Laban to get his code and his computer probably wont even run it properly, and I’m itching to play a match with less than 400 ping. I don’t know how the friend system works, but I’m Sparkster in-game and I’m on the second server ( III ) but I can jump over to the main one since I haven’t unlocked much yet.

If the game was working on Windows 8 I’d be in there. Are they giving out beta keys again? If not, Laban’s probably not getting in for a while.

<font face=“Arial, Verdana” size=“2”><span style=“line-height: normal;”>http://xd.qq.com/act/a20130115spring/index.htm

If you have a QQ account you can use buttons 2 and 3 to fish for the four icons below. If you light all four up before March 1st, you get a beta code. I got mine after 4 days of trying, and Laban’s been SOL for a week or so. Time’s running out so this is the chance for a code if you’re still stuck out of the game.

Do you have to be in China for the QQ account or they don’t care where you are from?

EDIT: It looks like they want me to blog something for buttons 2 and 3
This is where you let the Chinese ID generator shines. It’ll give you ID, name, phone number, sex, and birthdate. Make sure to use the Chinese info and not the Korean data below it. I’m not 100% sure if the initial birthday has to match up with the one you input here, but make them match for good measure. Again, the location doesn’t matter but the final box next to it asks for the mobile phone number that’s also provided in the generator. If everything went well, you can now get into the game and create your game handle and start playing.

Get Laban to get a laptop and I’ll show up to RAMnation every single time.

Could you explain Step 3.5 a bit better? There’s a lot involved in that step. It’s like a whole separate registration process.

EDIT: Okay I think I got it. I managed to sign up for a microblogging thing so now I think I’m good to go. I couldn’t press 2 and 3 in the same day, though. It didn’t give me two icons for doing so.
lemme know when you guys get in so we can play. gotta get that level 45…
I feel ya, pretty much stuck in the same situation except I gotta find a way o get there from El CErritto Del NOrte seeing how that how far BART goes.

It looks like you only have until March 1 to actually pull this off.
So, I have a problem in this game. For some reason it doesn’t register qcf’s well anymore, while before it was fine.

With the El-Blue I can’t do qcf+A or qcf+C at all, although qcb+B/D work fine. and j.qcf+A does for some reason too.

With Kyo clone dude I can’t do qcf+A rekka stuff, although qcf+C works fine and all qcb’s work.

Also the dp input isn’t working.

It seems as if the input interpreter changed since last time I played this game or something, or maybe there’s a conflict with my stick now. But it seems like I can’t do it on keyboard either, oddly enough. So it seems like it’s a bug

Anyone have this problem, and figured out a way to fix it?

—

The weirdest thing is that, if I open the ‘guide’ thing, that teaches you interactively what your attack options are, and how you walk and jump and shit, I CAN do the rekka’s…

—

Edit: and it randomly started working again. Strange.
Phoenix don’t forget that Yan’s rekkas are QCF+P then just F+P.

nice. good look sparkster

Couple bits of info I got while poking my head around the XD site.

1. <a class=“linkification-ext” href=“http://xd.qq.com/webplat/info/news_version3/1490/2083/2084/2085/m2009/201302/192357.shtml” title=“Linkification: http://xd.qq.com/webplat/info/news_version3/1490/2083/2084/2085/m2009/201302/192357.shtml”>http://xd.qq.com/webplat/info/news_version3/1490/2083/2084/2085/m2009/201302/192357.shtml
Google Translate says that the XD Windows 8 app will be available in Q2 of this year, so it’s release is imminent. Interestingly, they use the phrase “global release” a lot in this article, which possibly suggests it might be releasing to Windows Stores beyond simply just China.

2. <a class=“linkification-ext” href=“http://xd.qq.com/webplat/info/news_version3/1490/2083/2084/2085/m2009/201302/192496.shtml” title=“Linkification: http://xd.qq.com/webplat/info/news_version3/1490/2083/2084/2085/m2009/201302/192496.shtml”>http://xd.qq.com/webplat/info/news_version3/1490/2083/2084/2085/m2009/201302/192496.shtml
Lee Won Hee character guide/movelist. Though I think JohnGrimm did a good job explaining her character pretty well earlier in the thread.

EDIT: I just found out you can shift the region in which you shop for items on the Windows Store so tracking down XD when it releases should be a non-issue for any aspiring player (as long as you’re running Windows 8; they haven’t said anything about a non-Windows 8 release and who knows what kind of account credentials they’ll ask for even in the Windows 8 app).
Is there anywhere I can find the character art and names for each character?
