Trying to follow your line of reasoning here… You are reasoning that, with instant throws and getting a rollback after you see the throw connecting would look super funky, right?
Instant throws need not necessarily be detrimental in rollback. Look at KOF, that has 0-frame throws and doesn’t cause any issues at all on GGPO. That has to do with the 4 frame input lag on all buttons (except for Rolls and blowbacks) of course, but yeah.
3s frame data counts the first active frame with startup. As in, they hit on the third frame. Flipbucket throws hit on the 4th frame.
Getting the code is a bitch, even the comments in Chinese are crying about it. “I missed it again.” “I can never make it” etc.
Just keep trying and show up on time… Also practice doing it fast, like, organize your windows and plan your clicks ahead of time.
Shirley is out, unfortunately my dual boot copy of Windows 7 decided to up and die, so I can’t record until either I get Win7 fixed or they make XD work on Win 8.
I was able to download the thing but I couldn’t make out where to sign up for an activation code or anything. And I loaded it up and I tried to enter what looked like a username and password and I was able to enter a username but it wouldn’t let me enter anything for password.
So here’s an unexpected turn of events, Jade Studios and Tencent worked with Microsoft and will have an official Windows 8 app. All the news seems to be about mobile, so I don’t know if desktop versions of Windows 8 will be able to use it, but it’s still an interesting announcement none the less.
Maybe it’ll make it easier to get an account that can actually play the game, but basically until this app happens you wouldn’t be able to play it either way unless you dual boot.
I assume they’re going to gauge the reaction and money coming in from China before they release it internationally. It doesn’t cost that much to translate.
All things they’re doing already. Unless you mean the money going to Microsoft, but that would assume we know whatever deal they have together. Frankly I think the international release had been in the works, or at least in the idea pool. The Windows 8 partnership could basically be the means that they wish to do that, since I can’t imagine making your game international gets any easier than Windows 8 apps.
Once again I’m going to have to apologize about the lack of videos still, just coming by with a small update on the activities of Flip Bucket.
It appears that some of the characters have once again undergone more retranslation names. Why they keep retranslating I have no idea.
CoolB is now Kubi.
Lee Won Hee is now Liyuan Xi.
Ba Yu I ALMOST got correct, but is Bayu.
Ell Blue seems to be Elle Blue now, but they’ve done similar translations before and his name always seems to change.
