This reminds me of the crap I had to go through to play Final Combat. First of all, check to see if the developers have a Weibo (basically Twitter) account set up for the game. A lot of companies distribute keys everyday in posts way.
-Next, sometimes games are IP blocked. Try setting up TOR/Vidalia if you’re still unable to play after getting keys.
-Finally, remember that the servers are in China. You’re ping is likely to be through the roof unless you’re closer by like Hong Kong. Don’t expect to be competitive in online matches.

[*]The game uses rollback style P2P netcode. If you’re playing someone in China it’s going to be bad, but that’s to be expected. However, when you play someone in the US (they do exist every now and again, although personal matchmaking will be your friend if you get a key) you will be connected to them directly and the online is great.

No problem. Really wish I could figure out the new key system, that’s really the only thing stopping people from playing. You know, besides committing identity fraud and all, but who cares about that?
Make sure you forward the ports that were listed earlier in this thread. I don’t know if it was the ports or if I just got my internet fixed recently or what, but the last update was like 200 MB and I downloaded it the first time no errors. I was shocked.
Made a short video for the new girl. Her combo potential is ridiculous, it’s like everything juggles forever. I was just messing around and accidentally came up with a combo that uses all of her special moves and command normals.

Actually it looks like you still do need a key. I think it was me who posted the article about the game going open beta, but I think that was Google Translate being wonky and it didn’t actually go open beta.
No, see, they stopped posting keys on the twitter thing. Their main website is xd.qq.com and the time of day doesn’t matter anymore because all keys are randomly generated on their website.
And yes, everyone who is able to play it was required to provide Chinese ID.
